My wife and I did the Expedition South Kona tour on our recent trip and I cannot say enough about our guides/crew: Jill and Adam - They were fantastic! My wife had some issues with motion sickness and they took such great care of her providing ginger ale, water, and small snacks. The locations they take you to on the tour are excellent and you have roughly 45 minutes at each place to explore on your own while the crew keeps a watchful eye out for you. The boat was spacious enough to feel comfortable and they provided snorkel gear as well as pool noodles and de-fogger. They always explained which areas to go to for the best fish and where to seek out turtles etc. Along the way we made multiple stops at various sea caves, arches, lava tubes, and other formations while Jill explained in detail the history and geology of the area. Snacks are provided in the form of fruit, cookies, chips, juice and water, chocolates, and sandwich lunches and there was more than enough food for all. While we ate lunch at Kealakekua Bay/Captain Cook Monument we were treated to an entire pod of spinner dolphins - one doing the signature jump spin for us at the perfect moment.
