Nice clean Harbor, but if you want to go fishing just search for Camelot Sport Fishing. Sorry if this is in the wrong category.

Easy free parking and a short walk to a nice beach. Saw six sea turtles there. Plenty of birds. Not crowed on weekday.

We took an excursion with a company who launched out of the harbor. The place is well organized and public washrooms are very clean.

The sandy beach is quiet; not too many tourists: its a great place to snorkel for spotting coral and schools of fish; free parking and great place to relax and meditate.

This is a bustling marina filled with boats and boat loving locals who enjoy the fishing and the eateries. The great view draws locals and tourists alike to the Harbor House bar. You’ll love the location and the choices of things to do.

This was just a stop made by the Kona trolley which makes continuous circles of the Kona area. Easy on easy off and one of the perks our Sheraton Kona resort provided. Relaxed atmosphere. Lots to see from this area just to enjoy people watching.

Great location with all the record Marlin catching boats of the Big Island, must visit. Some amazing classic yachts as well as many local fishing boats, some with Greensticks for tuna catching.

If you don't have a plan or know where you are going, don't go here. Its not a very friendly place, and there is nothing to do here except look at boats, or maybe catch a fishing boat, but know where you are going because...More

Honokohau Harbor is small enough that one can walk around it, checking out the various sports fishing boats, dive boats, and cruise boats. At the right time, you can stand down by the fish docks and watch the trophy fish being measured and weighed...there are...More
