Captain Cook (Kealakekua Bay) Morning Snorkel 830am-12pm

If you are new to or have never snorkeled before this is the ideal choice! Particularly good for families with younger children or swimmers who aren’t certain if they are “sea worthy” enough for one of our longer trips.

This trip is much slower paced and affords guests time to become more familiar and comfortable with the exciting and beautiful sport of snorkeling. Our crew will be happy to help you adjust your mask, fins ad snorkel and help you become comfortable viewing the tropical fish while using a flotation assistance device we call a “Noodle”. You'll even watch for dolphins and whales along the way!

We arrived well in advance of the departure time. There was very little parking so my husband parked a distance away and walked back which of course took several minutes.. We had completed our forms in advance with our grown son, but the accompanying couple had not. The first

We went out early morning with two other couples and Captain Keith in a small, well-powered Zodiac. On this particular day, the dolphins were not too interested in interacting with humans, but they were there - beautiful, majestic, elegant. It is exciting to share the ocean

It took a while to find the whales but until we did the boat ride was awesome. The views of the Island were beautiful. We found the whales just before the excursion was over and spent 30-45 minutes quietly floating and watching. Fantastic trip!!!

Aloha Glenda, Mahalo nui loa for your in-depth review of our Dolphin Discovery Adventure! Reading about your time with us really made it feel like we were on board with you...and the experience was a mixed bag. Our boats are rigid hull inflatable vessels, they're built for speed in getting us from point a to b. They're not the most comfy, but they are the most fun! You have to hang on tight and be sure to use the "feet belts." When it comes to swimming with the Spinner dolphins, every encounter is different. Ideally, we would rather not swim in town with the other boats, but it also runs the risk of having to go on an intense boat ride further north and possibly not find any at all. Your review would be expressing much more disappointment beyond the setup of our boat. We appreciate all the time you took in writing up your review, and are very grateful for the 5-stars! Safe travels home! Aloha!
