We tried multiple times to get to the pier but my mobility was limited to finding a parking space at the parking lot by the pier. Unfortunately in two weeks time we couldn’t find one!

Nice view of Kailua bay and K town. Good spot for a cam pic. Just to the right north of the pier is a historic King Kamehameha temple landmark which you should not miss... easy walk over from the pier and behind the Kamehameha Hotel....More

I walked around the Kona Pier/Ali'i Drive area last week. Very clean and relaxed area. It wasn't crowded. Nice area.

If you are lucky as we were, you can see turtles on the side close to the beach. Enjoy watching the various water sporters around.

This is close to everything ---snorkeling by the Marriot court yard, down town, restaurants, kayaking --you name it. i enjoyed it !!!
