Pretty good cookies, a little dry. Not worth the $13 per dozen, though. The girl working there was very nice. 1-10, I give Mrs. Barry's Kona Cookies an 8-.

Discovered this gem, near Costco on the Big Island. Saw the line and knew we had to try it out. The cookies were so good! Tried several different ones. They were all good, but my favorite was the Macadamia Nut

Was looking to see if the Honolulu Cookie Company was on the island to get something for my friend and was sad to not find it. Amazingly, I spotted this little gem on the way to Costco. Glad we stopped by. Love that you can sample almost all the varieties. You can purchase individually or get them by the box. If you like crispy on the outside, this is your place. These cookies are not the soft and gooey kind. I tend to like those type more, but I really enjoyed these despite me typically not liking crispy. Highly recommend you make a stop here if you like cookies! I really think they are the best in Kona!

Located near the Kona airport with ample parking, my wife and I stopped by on a recent visit to the Big Island before heading back to Oahu. If you like your cookies thin and crispy, you will love Mrs. Barry’s concoctions. Personally, I prefer mine thick and chewy. I did enjoy their award winning Chocolate Chip Mac Nut cookies, so we took a dozen of them home for us to enjoy, and got our relatives, bags of assorted cookies, which included Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, Oatmeal Raisin, Chocolate Dipped Mac Nut Shortbread, Coffee Crunch and other morsels of delight.

Born and raised on Oahu, every time I head back, I am always sure to take with me several bags of these delicious cookies. Japanese call it "omiyage" or gift. Local style is to always bring gifts to and/or back home, when traveling, and these cookies are perfect. I'm also sure to pick up a dozen for myself, to eat while waiting at the airport. My favorite? Chocolate chip and the chocolate whirl.

Located below Costco, near the airport, be sure to take some home with you. Guaranteed to make and keep you friends and family happy!

We stopped by Mrs. Barry's on our way to the airport. We were there about half-an-hour tops buying a variety of those delicious cookies.
After paying, we drove out to find the traffic backed some distance. Hoping to find another exit, there was none. Stay in line or you'll end up farther back, I know, it happened us.
In this business district, you will find Costco and you know what that means. Also many people were getting off of work in the area.
Word of advice, give yourself ample time if you have a flight to catch.

Aloha Dexter, Thank you for stopping by and getting cookies. I'm glad you enjoyed them. So sorry you got stuck in the mishap traffic that day, there was a police incident that took us all by surprise. The traffic is never like that. We hope to see you again on your next Kona visit. Mahalo, Candice

Better than any home made cookie I've ever had. Very helpful service and besides having your cookies bagged to order, they are also individually bagged, sealed and boxed for shipping or packing in your suitcase.
