We did the Manta Ray Snorkel Tour. Captain Bambi was extremely nice and flexible. We had to reschedule the tour and it was really easy. The Snorkel was amazing and you are in the same space and within the same period of other companies that are much more expensive so it was a simple choice.

Our family of 4 took the sunset manta ray trip. It was incredible! We loved that the trip only had our family and 2 other guests on board. We could see from the harbor that other guides had large boats with dozens of guests. So if you like smaller events, this is the one. The hosts/guides were friendly, knowledgable, and did everything they could to make this a uniquely memorable experience. Watching the manta rays swim under the surfboard lights only inches away was a once in a lifetime deal. If you're looking to do a manta ray trip on the Big Island near Kailua-Kona/Captain Cook, this is the one!

3 of us ladies took the morning snorkeling tour. The boat was just the right size to be comfortable. We were inexperienced beginner snorkelers and the captain was very exact with her directions for us. Since there were only 3 of us, we got personal instructions. She was able to direct us from the boat and encourage us to keep going and where to try to look. She was excited that we arrived before the other boats and had the bay to ourselves for awhile. As beginners, we were glad, too, because the bay really filled up as we finished.
It was titled dolphin watch and snorkeling, which is why we chose it over other snorkeling tours. I felt like the captain did try to keep a watch out for dolphins and was able to explain to us why we didn’t get to see any. That was disappointing, but wildlife does as they will. However, we did get to see a baby whale which was amazing!
The captain shared some of the coastal history with us which was a little longer than i thought necessary. It also was given while the boat was stopped, so it was rocking quite a bit while we listened. We were all ok with that, but you need to be aware if you’re prone to sea sickness.
We appreciated the fruit plate at the end of the swim and enjoyed the captain’s directness.

Great small group experience. Bambi and Murray gave us an explanation of the history of the area and we got to see a beautiful sunset before snorkeling with the mantas. They made sure to get us to a location where we got to observe the manta rays up close and personal. I would definitely recommend this tour.

This was a fantastic experience. We have done many snorkel trip in many places but none quite like the dolphin swim part of this. Bambi is a true expert and was able to put us with the dolphins very quickly. We’ve done dolphin swims in controlled environments a few times but swimming with the spinners in the wild is a whole different experience. After the dolphin swim we spent an hour or so snorkeling off the Capt. Cook monument and had a great time. Bambi grew up on Hawaii and has an in-depth knowledge of the coast. She’s a great guide and it was marvelous to be on a small boat. It was almost like a private charter.

Did the Captain Cook trip. Easy to find the meeting place, get there early as parking fills fast. Nice ride out to the bay, saw some dolphins doing some big jumps behind a boat by us. Captain Swing us around to shock it ou

Snorkeling was good, found two steps better. The bay is busy with boats and kayakers.

Did the trips back and stopped at several areas along the coast and pointed out points of interest.

Overall a good morning excursion

I am leaving a review due to a terrible experience my family and I had in the water with this company. The woman, who I am assuming is the owner was not only rude but does not practice any of the values that she boasts about on her website. There was no aloha, pono, or kuleana being practiced but perhaps it is just for paying customers. My family and I were watching the manta rays from afar and she came to where we were swimming and almost ran my brother over because she did not want him near their charter. She almost hit us two more times and when we tried to talk to her she simply ignored us and turned her back to us.

As people who were born and raised on the Big Island, I could not believe the attitude and negligence this woman displayed. We even had a gentleman from another company encourage us to report her due after he saw what happened. Please do not support a business that not only exploits what this island but shows aloha only to those who pay for it.

Did the night manta ray snorkeling with captain Bambi and captain Murray. Had the best time with them, since they had a smaller boat you had a smaller group and was able to get out in the water faster as opposed to some of the larger groups. Their approach to giving instructions was very clear and I loved their attitude and knowledge about the ocean. They are so cool I wish the best for them and will recommend them to my friends in the future!

We did a morning snorkel trip and the evening Manta Ray snorkel. Both of the experiences were exceptional. Bambi, the captain, was knowledgeable of the area and history. Fun to be with. Murray, the guide for the night snorkel, was also very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the Manta Rays. Would highly recommend this company
