Awesome! An amazing experience. Our captain, Bambi, was outstanding. She was a true Hawaiian native with an knowledge and love of the island -- and the sea and its creatures -- that was wonderful. She taught us so much. 'Twas one of the highlights of our trip to the big island. Oh, yes, I think my wife was adopted by about 12 dolphins!

The whole experience was great. They were able to accommodate our party despite everything else closing down, we were their last party for who knows how long. We were also able to bring our year and a half old baby along. She stayed in the boat the whole time but she had a good time. There are a lot of other companies that do this snorkeling with mantas but Bambi went out of the way to make ours a unique experience while we waited for the sun to set, while they just sat bobbing in the water. They took us out to where all the goats congregate and the parrots perch for the night in a beautiful little cove. They gave us a little history about the island and were very knowledgeable about the mantas and everything else we asked about, and provided some yummy sushi. The snorkeling with the mantas was absolutely amazing. You hold onto a board with a pool noodle holding your feet up so the mantas feel comfortable getting closer. It’s very easy and comfortable to hold for a long time, I could have done it all night! They get so close and do barrel rolls literally inches from your face as they eat the phytoplankton. Definitely a bucket list experience. Thanks Bambi and Jass for the amazing experience!

Bambi and her crew took us along the coastline to see the cultural sites that played pivotal roles in the history of the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi, and we saw goats and parrots along the shore while enjoying fresh sushi and snacks. Then we headed over to the manta site where 20+ boats had already assembled, and as soon as we got in the water we were treated to these giant animals barrel-rolling and feeding within inches of our snorkel board. A great experience; highly recommended.
