Good place to shop
Apr 2019
This is an okay place to shop if you need something right away, but otherwise it’s nothing spectacular. Too bad that we had to have such a long wait! TSA was a mess! Most of the vendors were closed.

Best Happy Hour!
Jan 2019 • Couples
To be clear we try to find the best value for our retired dollar and this place is it! Happy Hour starts at 2 until 6. From 4 to 5 they have 3$ margaritas and they are delicious. Happy hour wine is 7$. The food is outstanding. We have had Calamari, spicy tuna tempura, lettuce wraps and spicy tuna sushi. All were really delicious. They don’t skimp on the portions and it’s top notch quality. We are in love with this place. The service is great and friendly. Been there twice already and another time for sure. We have checked out 4 other happy hours and this is number 1

Believe the Reviews
Dec 2018
Since we were passing by, we figured 'what the heck', so we stopped. 10 minutes later we were on our way. Granted it was a Sunday and maybe some merchants were purposely closed, but I would have thought the weekends were prime shopping time. Only one vendor in the Food Court was open, and other than an Asian market and what looked like a typical second-hand store, that was it. A lot of the space was locked up or vacant. I really hope this thing turns around. It's not a bad location and the brochure is well done... if not slightly misleading. The potential is there, but, currently, the experience is not. At least it's free.

Not impressed at all...
Jun 2018
What a waste of beauty in paradise, with all the space they have in Kailua-Kona this is the only way they can offer of an airport. This airport needs to be air conditioned for it is just too humid anywhere in Hawaii. I don’t like open airport for it is just too hot and imagine if it rains. On our departure, it was horrible customer service and just standing there for almost an hour because there was only one TSA at security point is unacceptable and a joked. That is why I told my family that never again would I come back to the Big Island.

Way overpriced
Mar 2018
Nothing in there is reasonably priced. I understand that you are at a top notch resort but prices are ridiculous. Not a huge assortment of items.

Have an open mind
Mar 2018
There is only one vendor that we visit and that is the koa wood carver. Each year that we visit the Island we definitely stop by his area. His carvings are exquisite and pretty reasonably priced. We talked to him and his wife and both are friendly informative and very pleasant. They will package and ship your purchase if it can not be taken on the plane. Both times our packages arrived home in a timely manner and undamaged.

just a few places open
Mar 2018 • Family
Not much here when we went at the beginning of March. This must have been a great place to go and browse when there were more vendors. There is a spot for a trolley stop and also where shuttles pick up people for tours. We found a few places open – an Asian market selling groceries; a second hand store (Treasure Junktion) selling used furniture, antiques and collectibles; a couple of souvenir/gift/clothing shops and a showroom /workshop (Tropical Inspirations) featuring beautiful wood furniture and items for home décor.

Good place for souvenirs and fresh fruit/veggies
Sep 2017
Right in downtown Kailua-Kona - close to the cruise port as well. Good place to souvenir shopping and if you are staying in Kona, great farmers market. Very good variety of items and most are well made and worth the money.

Don't waste your time
Jan 2018 • Couples
This place is either dead or dying. There are maybe 3 or 4 vendors left. We were so disappointed. Your time is better spent up the street at Target.

Don't Waste Your Time
Jun 2017 • Couples
This place is almost empty. I tgink there were 3 shops. One was an antique/ tbruft shop. The other two were over cluttered with the same touristy stuff.
I had jyst eaten lunch so I did not walk past the "food court". There were so few people there thst I would be afraid to eat there.
There was a cruise ship in poet today too. There was a sign saying ladt cruise ship shuttle at 3:30. I would have beeb mad had I been dropoed off there for more than 10 minutes.
Too bad they can't get a farmers & artisans market going here. It's not on Ali'i so it would have easier access.
