What a great trip we had on the glassbottom boat! We were a group of 7 adults and 3 small children. Age range was 2 to 70!. This activity is a win! Duration of an hour was perfect for the kids, everyone can see, comfortable set up. We saw spinner dolphins in addition to all the

Sometimes plans have to change quickly, particularly when you mix business with pleasure. We had planned to take this tour between business meetings. However, at the last minute, business interfered with this this tour. We called the Charter Company only an hour before the

Our first tour got cancelled last minute due to rain. We were there already & called to find out what was up. We were told that they had just made the decision to cancel, but we were there a half hour early because we had a drive to get there.(30-45 mins). The good news we

Thanks for the review. It sure was a bummer that the storm rolled in the day you were booked. We do wish we could have called you sooner than the hour before departure. We called as soon as the weather started changing and it can be hard to predict what mother nature will do. We were very glad that you could join us the next day. As with all boating adventures, we always suggest that those prone to seasickness take the necessary precautions. Glad you took part in our suggestion to enjoy a shave ice at Ululani’s to get your parking validated. Mahalo!

This is an ideal trip for groups and families. The boat is specially designed with everyone getting a good view under the boat. The crew are exceptionally friendly, professional and knowledgeable. It’s almost as if they want us to know more about reefs instead of making a

Thank you for the wonderful review. We are so glad that you were happy with our tour, boat design and crew. We really do want to give our guests a better understanding of the coral reef ecosystem, we are so glad that it shows. Thanks for pointing out that there are many things to do in the area before or after the trip. Visitors and locals alike really can make a fun day out of a Glassbottom boat ride, lunch, shopping and touring the historic Kailua Bay area.

We had a great experience once the tour got underway- saw lots of fish and a bonus pod of spinner dolphins. Upon arrival at the dock we were told the water was not clear and we would likely get sea sick, and were discouraged from going. We had 4 children ages 4-8 who listened to

We are so glad that the tour ended up being a good experience. Since the conditions were not ideal, we figured that warning you that those who are more prone to seasickness might get sick, and letting you decide was the fairest thing to do. We did not want you to have a sub-par experience and still charge you. There was nothing about the group size that was detouring us. We sometimes go with just two people. We were pleasantly surprised by how much the water cleared up. It is likely some currents were in our favor and improved the clarity between when it was checked, and the time we made it to the reef for the tour. The visit from the dolphins was a great break from the bouncy shoreline. It was still a bit rough on the water for our typical glassbottom excursion, but we were glad that you decided to go out and had a good time. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the commentary and the refund process for the two that opted out was smooth. We aim to give everyone the best experience possible. If the children were suggested into sea sickness we apologize, we appreciate you bringing this concern to our attention and we will keep this in mind next time we are confronted with a similar scenario. Mahalo for the review.
