I chartered a 3/4 day fishing trip for my husband as a Christmas gift! The greatest gift I have given thus far! Captain John and deck hand John were incredible! The equipment was top notch, very friendly and professional throughout the entire process! We caught a spearfish, but more over throughly enjoyed our day. We will be repeat customers!

This was one of the low points of our vacation because we didn't catch any fish but I'm not sure I can blame the captain. The ship is pleasant. Captain John was very accommodating to our schedule. His crew hand, John was very funny. Wish we had had better luck.

Cpt John is a true pro. Outstanding gear, 47’ boat with all the comforts and tirelessly worked so we could catch fish. I’ve been on lots of charters where you get dragged all over with no real concern for fishing success. Not so with John. Worked tirelessly so 11 year old could get his first ocean fish. Combined the day with snorkeling at Cpt Cook Monument one of the best spots in the world. Highly recommend Silky. Learned a lot about the island. Cpt John is a terrific host.

Guest to Hawaiicon had 2 half day adventures on the Silky. Both had fun hook ups with marlin's but the fish spit the hook. Everyone had a fantastic time. More pictures at hawaiicon.com

We booked with Silky Sportfishing for 1/2 day with my wife and daughter during our visit to Kona in October 2013. With lots of boats to choose from, the captains of the Silky made it for us. Captain Tobin not only helped us land fish but taught us about the habitat, lures and most effective way to handle the rod and reel. Being from St Louis, we were disappointed the Cardinals lost the World Series but thrilled to have been fishing on the Silky where the people made all the difference. Thanks Captain John and Captain Tobin for a memorable day.
