If you are feeling *the need for speed* this high energy experience is for you! It's certainly not your basic, dull, overloaded boat trip with screaming kids running everywhere. It feels exclusive because they only take 8 guests, so there is no shortage of attention given to each person. Deron and Paul, our captains for that 9am - 1pm trip,... More

The boat adventure was a total thrill. From the moment we got on the boat until we came back it was great. We heard the whales singing and snoring. It was so exciting. I even taped the sound on my phone and am still listening to it. The first hour the whales were hiding but then they found them and... More

Best snorkeling and whale watching on the fastest boat in Hawaii! We had a blast, swam with pilot whales and got the most amazing boat ride ever. Great captain and guide, when we saw something worth jumping in the water for we did it. Got MORE than our money's worth. Word of advice - when the captain motions you to... More

We went out yesterday with WHOA....it was out third time in three years. And we've been on a handful of other whale watches as well. But this experience was really special. The boat was as fast and smooth as ever. The crew was terrific (knowledgable, friendly, helpful etc). This time, the whales were more magnificent than ever! We found ourselves... More

We highly recommend WHOA. It was the best experience by far during our dreamy visit to the Big Island. The guys tried their best to offer us the opportunity to swim next to dolphins and whales. This was an experience of a lifetime and we highly recommend it!!! We will try again next time for the Sharks!

My wife and I booked a tour the morning of. The docks can be a bit confusing, but we figured it out. The boat is awesome. It kills me to say that I don't remember the guides names but they were both awesome. The boat is capable of covering distance in a hurry, which makes it great for whale spotting.... More

This is my third or fourth time on WHOA - something I will do EVERY time I visit the big island. What an amazing opportunity to be on a crazy rad boat with true ocean lovers. I took my friend for a girls trip to Kona to celebrate her 30th birthday. Couldn't wait to take her out on this trip... More

This super unique and environmentally friendly excursion was the highlight of our trip and possibly one of the highlights of all my trips combined! This trip is like going out on a boat with a few friends VS being just another tourist on a big boat. This was only my 3rd time snorkeling (the 2nd time was the day before... More

These guys were awesome. They knew exactly where to go for the best dolphin swim experience. They didn't stop there though. They searched the ocean for other interesting wild life and found a pod of pilot whales. They knew just how to navigate around the whales as not to disturb them and dropped us two at a time to enjoy... More

Affordable, exhilarating, one of a kind experience! Swam with manta rays, dolphins, saw whales, and had an unbelievable snorkeling experience at Cook's Monument. We left at 9am and did not return until almost 2pm because we kept chasing down sea life! Definitely the best bang for your buck on the Big Island!
