We are a Hawaiian & family owned Shoreline Fishing guide service located on the beautiful Kona Coast of Hawaii! We offer morning, afternoon, sunset & custom fishing adventures. We provide all poles, bait, tackle, shade, chairs, towels, sunscreen, drinks & snacks. We practice conservation with our catch & release policy. Come fish with us! You won't get seasick on this fishing trip!

A family member wanted to try something new for his birthday, and since he didn't have much fishing experience, we decided to book KSF. Super glad we did! Judah had every aspect of this adventure covered, from footwear to tackle. His knowledge of the sea and all of the sea creatures we encountered was impressive. Even though catching fish can never be guaranteed, Judah did everything he possibly could to maximize our chances. Everyone caught multiple fish, but the youngest and least experienced members of our group seemed to have the most success, which is a testament to the efforts of Judah and his helper David. Overall, we had a fantastic time, learned a ton, and brought back some lifetime memories. PS: wear sunscreen, pay attention to Judah's constant tips and advice, and take care of his equipment, and you will have a great experience!

Had a great time on our walk-in adventure! Judah was a great host and got us on fish immediately upon getting to our spot. Dave caught a fish on his first cast, while just showing us how to set the hook! Constant fishing for the entire trip and back in time for lunch with the family. Can't recommend this trip enough to anyone visiting Kona!

Years of fishing , many states and internationally , I definitely think my experience yesterday with Juddah was the ultimate experience . He was organized , shared techniques , and an exceptional mentor.
We caught a variety of fish continually throughout our charter. Certainly, the best guide trip ever !!!

Good morning. Yes if you are thinking of it and you are reading this review, you should book the time with Judah. He knows his fishing and he also spends time to share his knowledge of not only the species of fish but many other marine mammals as well. He is patient even with other guides from other states who think they remember how to fish is awesome. :)
Go fishing with him. Expand your mind!
Give him your time and he will certainly give you his.

Shoreline fishing is a blast and this afternoon trip was the highlight of our great trip exploring the Big island. For me it was 10 times more interesting and intriguing than fishing off a boat. Dave and Judah gave us instructions and showed us the techniques on where and how to fish. There are so many different kinds of fish that we caught!

We went out shoreline fishing for 6 hours and had an amazing time! Dave was a phenomenal guide! He was always ready to help us and teach us about the fish. He was wonderful company and very funny. He taught us about life in Hawaii and about Hawaii’s history. He worked hard to keep us catching fish all day long!

Had an amazing time shore fishing with Judah! Fished from a spectacular spot and had fish on right away! Judah was so generous with his time and information. He prioritized both our safety and our fun! Would definitely recommend 10x!

We had a 4 person party, 3 adults and 1 teen. Met Judah and David in front of a Cafe and followed them in our cars to the coast. We fished for reef fish from a lava rock shoreline. With every first catch of a species, Judah would provide an education as to what species , historical usage by native Hawaiians, and how that fish fit into the ecology. All poles, bait , water shoes snacks, and fluids were provided , Judah and David kept the lines baited as long as we kept checking them. In 3 hours we caught as many as 10 fish, all to be released back to the ocean, to maintain the species. Our 4 fishers had a blast. One of the best activities of the week. Customer service ahead of the trip was well handled and directions were clear and timely. Book early! in your stay. Thanks Judah and David!

We had a great day fishing with Judah for the hike-in adventure. He was on time and fully prepared with gear, bait, water, snacks, and sunscreen. He took us to a beautiful spot and kept our lines baited as well as gently coached us to help us catch more fish. Every time we caught a fish Judah explained what it was, it's special characteristics and took photos for us. It was a fun way to start our trip.

I wanted to highly recommend Kona Shoreline Fishing Adventures. We just came back from inshore fishing with them. We caught so many fish and when the fish stopped biting, we found a new spot close by and caught some more. My daughter caught more fish than we could count and when my son wasn't catching anything, they were determined to help him and didn't stop until he did. They were awesome!
