Some gorgeous holes by and facing the ocean that make the experience worth the visit. Not an easy course. Club house is pretty run down and the pro shop does not allow registrations more than 30 minutes prior to tee time making it virtually impossible to warm up. Packages available

I've been learning to play for a few months and came here for my first ever game whilst on holiday in the local area. The guy at the front desk was very helpful and polite, even gave us some local fruit he had. The course is beautiful, the views are fantastic. We didn't feel rushed at any point. The course was well maintained. Really great afternoon had by all.

Course is towards an expensive side $$$ but very few facilities according to the prices charged. Will be a fun play should not it be a hurried game of golf. Place itself is stunning.

Played KCC today, and got paired up with some locals. Place was crazy busy, including lots of visitors getting rental clubs, but staff handled efficiently. Looked like things would get backed up, but got out quickly and things flowed smoothly on course. Gorgeous views, well kept course. A must play if in the area.

Played Thurs, 5 Dec 2019. I had a 0700 tee time and paired with a couple. Starter allowed me to go as a single and I played in 2:30! Surprisingly, the fairways were wide enough to handle all but one of my slices/hooks and it has two beautiful Par 3's on the shore. I made my tee time through Hawaiiteetimes.com for $130. I played Manua Kea (an hour drive) later in the week at almost twice the cost, but I enjoyed the overall experience at Kona CC. Greens were firm and rolled smooth. We stayed at the Sheraton Kona Resort and Spa (about 4 mins away) and the Kona CC has a bar & grill with a great view and an affordable menu.
