About
Climb aboard our 34' charter vessel at Keauhou Bay and join us on a cruise of the spectacular Kona coast viewing lava cliffs, lava tubes and sea caves. Reaching our snorkeling destination - Kealakekua Bay, you will spend 1.5 hours snorkeling then relax on board with cold drinks and snacks. Snorkeling gear and snacks are complimentary. Spinner dolphins are commonly encountered on our trips and often we stop to enjoy them. You'll enjoy the personal attention and small group size (maximum 18 guests) on our trips. Join us for an unforgettable journey!

My family recently did this snorkeling tour and were a little disappointed. The staff was very friendly but there were details not mentioned on their website that made it feel a little misleading. It was supposed to be a 3 hour trip but they did not mention that it is an hour boat ride each way and only 1 hour of snorkeling. The area was very crowded when we got there. The biggest detail missing was that there is no restroom on board the boat. I specifically booked with them because it was for all ages and I brought my young children and my mother in law who is older. Thankfully we had no issues but because of the weather the 3 hour tour took closer to 4.5 hours which could lead to problems with young kiddos.

We booked last minute with Captain Cook Cruises for the trip to the Captain Cook monument. The boat ride was great (saw whales and dolphins) and the snorkeling was excellent. The gear was good and the crew friendly and helpful.

The captain and his assistant were both very kind, professional, and informative, along with having prioritized safety. The "Deluxe Captain Cook Tour" was a nice amount of time balancing between the boat ride to the bay and the time we spent snorkeling (about 45 minutes). It felt just long enough for a first time snorkeler. On the boat ride, the captain would stop when whales or dolphins were spotted, which was a nice bonus.

They take you out to the Captain Cook Monument, which is incredible. The crew is very knowledgeable, especially Victoria. She is a smart, strong young women who really helped me out, as I am a trouble swimmer.

Capt Scott and crew were great and provided a memorable experience. The Reef was amazing and full of sea life in K Bay at the Captain Cook Monument. Attentative and knowledgeable service from crew made it a great day.

This was a fabulous snorkeling tour. Right off the boat, we saw a sea turtle swimming around, diving underneath us. We saw tons of fish and beautiful coral. It was easy to find a spot where therefore less people and it wasn't as crowded with other tours as I thought it might be. We had a lovely trip out and back, and got to see some neat lava formations on teh way back to the boat ramp. The team was very efficient and knowledgeable.

This was a great trip. We booked the 8:45am tour to avoid the bigger boat tours that arrived later and allowed about 45 minutes of snorkeling with fewer groups. Captains John and Eric were fantastic guides. They helped us with our snorkel gear as I had issues with my mustache letting in water - which they resolved. On the way back, they showed us some sights on the cliffs and even located some spinner dolphins that swam alongside our boat. The boat was very comfortable and rode smoothly in the swells. Excellent adventure and would book again if provided the opportunity.
