Captain Cook is the best place to snorkel on the west side. And taking a boat to it is the best way to enjoy it and also preserve the area. Captain Jeff and Kamalu were fantastic tour guides. Giving us the best experience possible. Sharing with us some local knowledge about Kona and the sea life. The boat is well equipped and extremely comfortable. We would recommend hiring them over taking one of the "big" boats. You will have a better time and more personable. Aloha!!!…

The captain and first mate were excellent, sharing stories, history of the island, and knowledge about the fish and animals we saw. Captain took the time to check out anything that may be swimming near us. We were almost back to the harbor, and saw a mother whale and her baby. We stopped to watch them for quite a while, and they put on a great show! The Captain Cook memorial was spectacular. The water was so clear, and teaming with fish. Easy on and off the boat.…

My mother, sister and niece booked a 3 hour tour and had the boat to ourselves. Captain Jeff and Kamalu were wonderful, very friendly. Kamalu is very knowledgeable about everything Hawaiian, and a lovely person as well. We were fortunate to see dolphins, lots of beautiful tropical fish, and the most amazing sight of a baby humpback whale breaching with it's mother swimming along side. Unbelievable!!…

One of the most beautiful places to snorkel! The Captain and his first mate were accommodating and friendly. They shared some history about the island and where we were snorkeling and went above to stop the boat to observe whale and spinner dolphins. I was looking for a simple snorkeling adventure at a reasonable cost and I was so happy I chose them!…

This was incredible and the staff was terrific. My 8 year old Grandson was having issues with breathing with the snorkeling gear. Edie went into the water with him and taught him. Once he caught on, he never wanted to stop. We were in the middle of a pod of spinner dolphins and my 15 year old granddaughter is still talking about it. The staff was attentive and accommodating. Loved every minute…
