Captain Zodiac has entertained guests for over 42 years on our exciting 24-foot Zodiac rafts. You will see the rugged coastline up close as you explore a sea cave and see exposed lava tubes, blowholes and archways.

You will snorkel in the crystal clear waters of Kealakekua Bay Marine preserve viewing over 150 varieties of fish. You must keep a sharp eye out for pods of dolphins, whales and other marine mammals that come close to our rafts.

The Zodiac ride is fast, fun and educational! You will hear about the Hawaiian history of the area, learn about marine life behaviors and learn the island’s geology.

This was hands down the best whale watching tour I've been on! I loved being on this small boat with an even smaller group of people. This made our tour very personalized. We saw a bunch of humpbacks and even had some spotted dolphins playing with our boat! (and doing some crazy acrobatic back flips!!) Drea and Davante (sp?) were... More

We did this shore excursion as part a Hawaiian Islands cruise. It was a wonderful experience. The ride is fast and bumpy just as advertised but quite fun. Our crew, Zack and Shannon, were excellent and we strongly recommend them. They were upbeat, relaxed but still very safe, and gave us a lot of great info about marine life and... More

Rick and Katie did a fantastic job showing us whales, dolphins, and the coastline of this beautiful part of Hawaii. We have used this companies services many times and never been disappointed. Thanks for the fun time!

We took a tour with Jack and Lindsey. Great tour. Had a great ride down, seeing dolphins and whales going and coming. Jack was super interesting with lots of geological history of the island as well as cultural history. Well informed. Lindsey was very nice and accommodated every request. The snorkeling in front of the Captain Cook Monument were amazing.... More

Collin and his first mate were excellent. On the way to go snorkeling we spotted a whale. Collin had us there in no time. While we waited for it to surface again he filled the time with information about Kona dating back centuries. After seeing several whales we moved up the coast to snorkel near the monument of Capt Cook.... More

We joined Captain Dave and his assistant Davonte for a snorkeling adventure provided by our cruise shrip, The Uncruise. It was a fun time spotting Spinner dolphins, spotted Dolphins, and Bottlenose Dolphins, as well as a Humpback Whale. Once we reached the dive grounds we saw a myriad of colorful fish on our dive. Dave was great giving us history]... More

Captain Colin and Katy (from New Zealand) were both extremely knowledgable and professional. The captain worked hard to ensure we saw plenty of whales, he was also very respectful, ensuring we stayed a good distance away. The tour is excellent value for money and you get a true personal experience, unlike with so many other tour groups I didn't feel... More

Rick and Kimberly were our crew for the morning snorkel adventure. On the way to and back from the snorkel site they provided detailed information about Kona and the surroundings. We also got into the middle of a huge pod of spinner and speckled dolphins that came right up to the zodiac boat. They also brought the boat near the... More
