Captain Zodiac has entertained guests for over 42 years on our exciting 24-foot Zodiac rafts. You will see the rugged coastline up close as you explore a sea cave and see exposed lava tubes, blowholes and archways.

You will snorkel in the crystal clear waters of Kealakekua Bay Marine preserve viewing over 150 varieties of fish. You must keep a sharp eye out for pods of dolphins, whales and other marine mammals that come close to our rafts.

The Zodiac ride is fast, fun and educational! You will hear about the Hawaiian history of the area, learn about marine life behaviors and learn the island’s geology.

Amazing tour! Best snorkeling trip ever! Captain Collin and Budda are the best guides on the island. They not only took us snorkeling but educated us on the history of Hawaii and the culture. We saw pilot whales and swam with spinner dolphins, which was absolutely incredible! I highly recommend these guys and will be back again for another tour.

My husband and I took our sons, 10 and 12 year olds on this while in Hawaii on a cruise with NCL. We had a great time. My children will talk about this for years to come. We got to see dolphins and pilot sharks. The snorkeling was great because the water was so clear. Everything was very easy and... More

Our adventure was awesome, and was truly an expedition. This was will be an unforgettable experience for my family and we enjoyed ourselves very much. Our captain, Chris, was great. He was very informative about marine life, snorkeling, and boating. He never put us in dangerous spots, and we felt safe in the ocean. Our master diver, Devonte, was also... More

Went out with my two teenage boys to snorkel and hopefully swim with the Dolphins. Captain Colyn and his first mate Buddha did a phenomenal job at going above and beyond out expectations! Not only did we snorkel in the beautiful waters of Captain Cooks cove in Kona, but we saw several whales along the way and my spouse took... More

We had a fantastic day! Probably the best excursion of our trip. Chris and Katie took excellent care of us. They were on the look-out for fun stops on the way to and from our destination - the Captain Cook monument - and were just a delight to spend the day with. Once we arrived, the snorkeling was great -... More

We really enjoyed this ocean going expedition. Mainlanders think river rafting when they hear raft, so be advised this is motorized rafting on the ocean, with a snorkel stop in Kealakekua Bay. We had about 10 on our tour and Captain Colin and First Mate Shannon took excellent care of us. We went out from the launch point about 8... More

Had a great snorkeling trip to Captain Cook's monument. The great crew even found time for us to watch spinner dolphins on the way back in! The also showed us sea caves and lava tubes.
