Excellent tour! The captain and first mate Devonte were awesome. Lots a fun lore at stops on the way up and back - including a tip for where to find the best mai tai on the island. Riding the zodiac was a ton of fun too. Had the feeling of being right on the water sitting on the edge, yet overall not too bumpy (they did say we got lucky with the weather and conditions). The best the crowd delivered on that promise, as there were probably only about 3-5 other boats there with us and lots of room to cruise around in the water without bumping into others. Kealakakua bay is incredible snorkeling. The reef is shallow so doesn't need any diving to see amazing things. The fish are also very chill and will pass right in front of you.

This was, by far, the best snorkeling trip my wife and I have ever been on. Captain Rick and Davonte were exceptional and fun. The lava formations are almost worth the trip on their own. And if you’ve never ridden on a Zodiac Hurricane before, get ready for a fun ride! This was a BLAST of a trip. And by the way, the incredible views under water at the reef are as good or better than any I’ve ever seen. We will do this one again!

Best snorkeling by far. We usually stay in Maui, but always fly over to Kona for the Captain Zodiac tour. The water at the Cook Monument is calm, clear, and plenty to see. Have seen dolphins on every trip too. We had Captain Maria and Davonte on this last trip and they were great-provided a ton of information about the marine life, the local scene, and are just laid back and cool. Also, the raft ride is unlike anything else you'll experience. It's a lot of fun. Last, do yourself a favor and go on the Beat the Crowd tour. You won't regret it.
