I've never experienced such professionalism, service and courtesy as I did with Jack's Diving Locker. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, the boats and equipment top notch, and their knowledge of diving and the Hawaii sea life far surpassed any other dive operation I've been with. Husband and I were already Advanced Open Water certified and our trip to... More

We had not planned to scuba on Big Island, but rather in Oahu prior to jumping islands. Tropical Storm Darby had other plans for us and our Oahu scuba tour was cancelled. We had not dove prior to visiting Hawaii for about 5 years, and while the Oahu scuba tour was aimed for us "rusty" divers, I had no such... More

Had an incredible time on the night snorkle. Registration was simple. Got an email the day before asking if we still planned to go, as our deposit would become non-refundable in a few hours. Had email updates of what was being seen on the trip. Good gear. Excellent crew with Flipper and the guys. This is a must do. We... More

Very relaxed experience on a small boat that fits around 14-16 people. Plenty of space for all. The crew is fun, engaging and enthusiastic. But the best thing is the mantas. Breathtaking experience. You just have to do this. Is easy, totally safe and you'll have memories for a lifetime. Thanks to Blueberry, Gojiberry and Wolfberry, or whatever the nicknames... More

I highly recommend going on Jack's dive boat trip to see the mantas. Some lower cost snorkel boats just come out for the night snorkel. With Jack's longer tour, we were able to snorkel for an hour in daylight and saw mantas moving gracefully in the water. So much different than the rapid activity during the fabulous night experience.

We did two half day trips and the manta ray dusk/nite trip. Guides friendly and knowledgeable. Dive sites had some variety and plenty of fish, good vis. Certainly would go back to them.

Outstanding All-Around dive shop and experience!! And, 29 Manta Rays on the night dive!! What an experience! This dive lived up to the hype and more. My son was "tapped" 6 times by Mantas that night, one actually knocked his mask off. The dive master, Jeanne, was there in a second to help him and check on him. She was... More

This was a very enjoyable dive. The boats were in excellent condition, the crews knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The per-dive instruction was right on as was follow up after each dive. There were snacks and water easily available for everyone. This starts at 7:00 AM and returns by about 1:00 PM so plan accordingly. We had our own gear and... More

This is one of the longest-running dive shops in Kona they have been doing this for a long time and are very very experienced. Great place to get out and see all the stuff that Kona has to offer underwater
