Andrea is a passionate advocate for the art of refined olive oil produce and its many health benefits if done properly. After this visit you will not want to revert to the mass produced oils offered in supermarkets. Very much recommended!

We visited Andrea during our Istria vacation and had a wonderful time. Andrea is very welcoming and fun to talk to about the EVOO and many other delicacies and Istria in general. 😉👍 His knowledge and insights on the oil are great and you can learn a lot. We had a very entertaining time with him sitting on the family house’s porch while trying the different types of oil. It goes without saying that the oils are terrific and a true taste gem. 🙂 We recommend anyone to visit Andrea to learn about the oil and buy plenty of that wonderful product.

We stopped by this place today. Andrea was a fabulous host - his love for the oil, the quality and nature are almost as palpable as the flavors on his gorgeous organic oil.
We sat outside on his beautiful deck, surrounded by olive trees under the Istrian sun - learned about olives and oil, drank a beer and chatted. What could be better?
Now I may need to check my luggage because I could not leave without buying a bottle of this liquid heaven.

Visiting Cadenela orchards with Andrea was a delight. We set among olive trees, listening to stories. But not only stories of how olive oil is produced, but what makes and breaks olive trees, the history, what matters, what doesn't, difference between olive oils, the differences between olives themselves, organic and non organic,..... Andrea is not only a great story teller, but also possess amazing knowledge of olive oil production and local history. Lastly Cadenela organic olive oils are amazing and to be perfectly honest it is difficult to have any other olive oil bought in shops. Just doesn't feel as good, because simply it is not. Looking forward to my next week.

The olive oil tasting with Andrea was a unique and delightful experience. We learned a lot about olives, olive oil and of course the Cadenela organic approach. Andrea’s passion, ethics and enthusiasm for his oils ensured a captivating learning experience.

We would recommend all culinary-interested visitors to Istria to visit the beautiful Cadenela orchards and tasting the finest olive oils “on location”.

We did the a tasting and tour. Andrea drove us to the orchards and we walked past all the trees. At the end we did the olive oil tasting accompanied with a nice white wine in the sun. We were a bit new in 'the world of olive oil' and Andrea took his time to answer our questions. We had never met someone who had that much passion about his work, which made it even better. At the end he also recommended a couple of restaurants in the neighborhood. It was really nice and a definitely a must do!

What a better way to learn about olives then from family and men who made a transition from his lawyer career to follow his passion in growing best organic olive oil in Istria and beyond! As a "recreational" consumer of olive oil I learned a lot about different varieties of olives and olive oils made out of it. Andrea presents in such passionate and fun way that it was really entertaining way to have a nice afternoon/evening. Not to mention great scenery in olive filed next to old stone Istrian traditional building Kažun. And as a wine lover Andrea's olive oil cuvee become my favourite. It even makes me consider adopting an olive tree form this wonderful family!
