We had the most amazing wine tasting here! Everyone was so lovely and knowledgable, and the wines were amazing.

We had a really nice time at this lovely winery. Sandra took us through their entire range from light sparkling wine to complex Merlot. The tasting room is small, light and modern, and we were treated to local sausage and cheese to compliment the wines. No hard selling like you find at some wine tastings, just a very pleasant chat and opportunity to learn a little more about Istrian wine and culture.

Morena was such a great host and she shared her enthusiasm for olive oil and wine. It was very eye-opening. Would definitely recommend a visit. Took home (to US) several bottles of EVOO and one of the white Malvasia. Thank you Morena!

We had an amazing experience at Medea. Wines, olive oils and other food served in the tasting were all of superb quality. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had all of our questions answered and heard some interesting stories and facts about the food tradition in Istria. We even had gluten free bread served for a celiac in our group.
All of the wines and oils in the Medea line were very good, but we especially liked the cabernet sauvignon. Be sure to buy at least a couple of bottles on your visit, since they are a lot cheaper straight from the winery!

We've booked a wine and olive oil tasting for a group of eight. Morena, the olive oil sommelier, was really nice and told us a lot of interesting things about the different wine and olive oil from Medea. Bread, croatian sausage, cow cheese and olives were included in our tasting. The wine and the olive oil was really tasty. We would definitely recommend a tasting at Medea Winery :)

We went to the Mendea Winery for a wine and oliveoil tasting. Morena, the wine and oliveoil expert, gave us a very informative and elaborate insight in their assortment of wines and oliveoils. The products were very tastefull and of high quality. We hat in oue tasting included a variaty of delicious regional chees, olives and sausages.
Morena has a refreshing personality and is passionate about wine and oliveoil.
We can warmly recommend the tasting.

We booked a wine tour with Morena Matijas at Medea Winery on the recommendation from our hotel in Pula. It was definitely worth the trip. Morena was very knowledgable and made it a wonderful experience for all of us. The girls were very helpful when buying the wine and olive oils after. We would highly recommend a visit to this vineyard!

Great wine and olive oil tasting. Good wines at very affordable prices. Best Merlot I tasted in Croatia. Similar to Merlots from Central Italy. Nice Malvasias. Excellent olive oils at great prices. Bucolic location. Great meats and cheeses.

Every summer we discover something new in Vodnjan, this year it was Medea's wonderful wine and olive oil. Morena took us through an hour of tastings and good stories about the vineyards, olive fields, region and history. We paid for the silver tasting and the price was great value for the lovely time spent.

We are thankful the rain came and derailed our plans to drive around the island. Through our wonderful guide, Belman, we found this wonderful place. It is a family owned business and the family was well represented. We were greeted and given the winery history by beautiful and talented Magdalena. The wine was fantastic, leaving us to wish they exported to the USA. Take the time off the beaten path and visit this wonderful gem of a winery.
