Stopped here as part of tour. Mildew odor greats you as you step into building. It is very old building but I found the exhibits charming. We had a wonderful short piano concert on the baby Gand piano that is upstairs. The old rooms and...More

The Museum is housed in a large single-family home built in 1864 or 1866. In later years it also housed the consulate of Prussia. Some have stated that the house was given to the wife of the Prussian Consul, Kaliopa, by the Governor of Danubian...More

This is a family and house steeped in history from the 19 century. Excellent tour guide and lovely piano solo too. Worth a visit if you like history and seeing homes from that era.

The Museum is a typical wealthy house from the beginning of XX century - the Bulgarian renascence. The walls are beautiful painted and the roofs are wood carved. The house has unique for its time furniture and objects.

One of the musts you have to visit in Rousse. Interesting collection, nice guiding, good positioning...Hopefully there will be more organized groups of tourists to visit this and the other sightseeings of Rousse and the area of Rousse.

The House of Kaliopa is a very romantic place to visit. The authentic 19th-century environment transfers you back to the Belle Epoque. The curators and guides of the site were of great assistance for the better experience :)

A lot of history and interesting legends here. However, not sure how interesting this would be for foreign citizens, but for natives it's okay.
