This is the river that becomes the border between Bulgaria and Romania.
It's a good peaceful river.
You can also see amazing sand arts. There's nothing spectacular nor exciting.
Recommended for slow travelers who have much time.
Lots of history with dwellings and upgrade city travel. Great Museum and shops easy access to.

You can walk by the Danube in Ruse. The views from the city are not that impressive. At night it is very dark and no lights. Also, there are no established restaurants along the way creating a flow of people, so its quite empty.
We travelled as close to the Danube as possible, from Ruse to Svishtov, where we crossed on the TIR ferry before driving through Romania to cross the Danube back into Bulgaria on Freedom Bridge.
