Walter gave lessons to my kids for 2x2 hours. Walter was friendly and they learned a lot. Walter was very flexible and had good suggestions about areas to go.

Walter is an excellent teacher. I learned so much from the time I spent with Walter. He is patient and teaches to the level of your knowledge and confidence. I will book Walter next year when I return for my next ski holiday.

Walter is an excellent ski instructor. Best ski lessons experience. Highly recommend for beginners and accomplished skiers. Could not rate highly enough. You will not be disappointed.

We left Westendorf yesterday and we are already thinking of coming back! Walter was able to tackle our flaws and give us the best advice to learn technique. We were beginners with no technique and a lot of fear, and he gave us the confidence and tricks to enjoy every second of the slope! We have had other instructors in the past and Walter was undoubtly the best! Great man and professional!

We had some super ski lessons with Walter! He was very good in teaching us (2 beginners) all the basic techniques and later on some more stuff. And he even speaks some basic Dutch!

It was our second time in Westendorf and once again we arranged three 4 hour lessons with Walter. It was again a success.
We are a family of 4 with a fairly similar level but different characters and ways of approaching and learning new skills.
The first thing we noticed (and were pleasantly surprised by) was how much we still remembered from Walter's lessons last year.
During each lesson, Walter alternated between exercises and practising going down the slopes. He seems to always know when to challenge and when to calm you down and fill you with confidence. Walter used different approaches to each of us and yet we always felt we are together, enjoying our time spent on slopes. We were very tired at the end of each lesson but very satisfied at the same time.
We are coming back next year and have already booked Walters time.

Just went to Westendorf for a new year break, and kind of beginners... found Walter through website, he was amazingly quick in responding...
We took 3 days private lessons from him, he is one of the best instructors you can ever get.
He corrected our small mistakes, which made our technique improve drastically. By the end of our third day, he took us up on gondola and gave us lot of confidence.
Very reasonable then other ski schools, speaks very good English, good value for money.
Would highly recommend everyone going to Westendorf for skiing.

Came to Westendorf at New Year January 2019. Booked Walter at Pro skischule Westendorf for private lessons for our 3 children aged 7, 9 and 12 . The two boys have special needs in particular problems with communication and global learning . This can lead to problems with Ski School during busy holiday times .
As an instructor we found Walter to be punctual , professional and detailed with the tuition . Very patient with the kids with a pleasant demeanour .
All the children enjoyed the lessons and want to come back to Westendorf . I noticed an improvement based on the teaching being at the appropriate level and being a sports instructor myself am highly critical .
I would highly rate this instructor for adults and kids 😊⛷🎿 and money well spent . ( He speaks good English /Irish as well )

Excellent lesson that managed to advance my technique and give me things to work on for the rest of my stay. Walter was not just a great instructor but also great company. Highly recommended!
