“A private lesson with the right instructor, Is an Investment" and I am fortunate to have had Shannelle as my Instructor for 2 hours. This was my 5th time snowboarding and I had just went snowboarding the weekend before. I have had two other instructors before and have been catching on pretty quick but I found that as I was getting faster I was also fighting with the mountain to control my speed. I am a pretty athletic and strong guy but I am no match for any mountain. It can be very tiring and frustrating to ride this way. I watched videos, read forums and couldn't put my finger on why this was happening.
This is where SOS - "School Of Shannelle" exceeds above the rest! After Physical Training class (warmups), we moved on to the Science lecture where I learned drills to improve my balance, control and even jumping! I would have never done this or thought to do it on my own, trust me, it works! After that we moved on to the best class I have had, Physics! This is where I learned weightless turns and "The Gravity Line" she called it and though I never heard that anywhere before, it is exactly what it sounds like, It is Science and is 100 percent accurate. I was no longer fighting it, I WAS RIDING IT! Leaning forward, weight in the front, smooth turns, controlled speed and most importantly it felt effortless. I was finally! one with the mountain.
Shannelle informed me in the beginning that she would push me and if I felt uncomfortable to mention it. She did push me but the way she coached me made me want more. She gave me several compliments on my riding, and I left that lesson feeling confident, accomplished and proud of my riding. I was leaving behind some of the thinnest lines I have ever left behind. Thank you for the compliments on my riding coach but I owe it to you. You are "The Real MVP!"

We had great teachers from the ski school, Veronika and Karel. Karel helped my wife get her confidence back quickly after a long break from skiing and Veronika taught our beginner kids (7 & 11) efficiently and with a lot of patience. She managed to get them skiing to a really good level by the end of the week.
Communication in booking was also easy with Stepan via WhatsApp. The team at Snowlines are professional and patient and would highly recommend them to anyone skiing in the Solden area.
Their recommendation to use Brugger sports was also helpful as they have a facility at the bottom of Giggijoch, which was very convenient.

Took my family on a ski vacation in January, 2020. We hired Snowlines Ski & Snowboard for 3 days as private guides. We wanted to see the best of the mountain and not worry about missing anything.
From the moment I contacted Stepan I knew it would be a great trip. Stepan took care of everything. He even met us the day we checked in at the hotel to help my 3 kids get the rental equipment they needed so we could hit the slopes first thing the next morning.
We skied with Karel and Sarka every day. They are amazing!!! They took care of everything e.g. lunch reservations, suggesting local meals, skiing off piste, skiing tips to help us become great skiers, etc.
My kids really enjoyed skiing with Karel and Sarka and so did I!!! They are fantastic skiers and all around great people!!! We will definitely be going back and I won’t ski with any other company. Snowlines is the best in Sölden!

Me and my boyfriend David took private skiing lessons with Veronika for 3 days. She gave us helpful individual tips which resulted in us skiing very well (with control and confidence) at the end of our trip. The whole experience was very nice!

Could not recommend this more highly. Six of us (aged 13 to 50 and one who prefers not to say) spent three days with Jan. Our previous experience is of intermediate to advanced skiing, and we have had outstanding private lessons in Val D’Isere and La Plagne in the past so have plenty to compare with Snowlines. Jan mixed technical advice with really useful drills. He was delightful and an excellent skiing companion. It’s not surprising that they are heavily booked. Our advice BOOK EARLY

My teenage daughter had two private ski lessons on consecutive days with Sarka. She made the lessons great fun and my daughter had a fantastic time. Sarka tailored lessons to want she wanted to do, found the best snow and least crowded slopes, took photos which she whatsapped to us later and was very flexible and accommodating with timing and locations. My daughter's technique improved significantly, particularly on moguls and she is now much more confident on harder terrain.

Faced with a disrespectful, uncaring attitude.
We asked to reserve an instructor.
For two days there was no response, we repeated the question.
Finally Stepan replied and said that he would contact us in half an hour.
The day ended, but no one contacted us.
Once again reminded about us, but in the end nothing!
Definitely not recommended!

I'm 26 years old and I just had my first snowboarding experience. Without Snowlines I would never be able to achieve these results in such a short time!!
First shout out is for Stepan. He was always writing back very fast (WhatsApp) and he did his best to offer flexibility. Unfortunately, one day weather conditions were bad, some lifts didn't work due to the strong wind. Stepan offered me to reschedule the lesson, so I am not fighting bad weather on a board.
Secondly, I would like to thank both of my instructors: Karel and another Karel😊 They helped me to overcome natural fears and made me start making turns. I would never do it on my own! They both always cheered for me, encouraged to relax and enjoy the process. Another important thing I was helped with is hopping on and off lifts. Sounds like an easy task, especially if you are a skier...but board is a different story. After couple of attempts, I finally managed not to fall down immediately as I leave a seat.
Finally, I believe the whole team is amazing. When you going down the slope you meet other instructors, who also cheer you up and compliment your moves. Just a simple "oh, good turn" made me keep on going and trying my best.
I really hope to come back to Sölden next year, and if I do I am definitely going to book lessons at Snowlines again!

We had a fantastic week of private tuition with Petra. She was personable, patient and a pleasure to be tutored by. My family were delighted and highly recommend.
Also the back office was friendly and practical to deal with. Overall- fantastic.
A separate caution for beginners with regards to choosing Soelden. To emphasise, this is not related to Snowlines at all, but to the nature of the Soelden skiing area and the limited easy skiing. Keep in mind there are no extensive dedicated areas for learning to ski and much of the basic tuition must take place at the bottom of a blue run where, regrettably, there are many reckless skiers which requires extra vigilance. Soelden really needs better system of regulation for speed control at the bottom of this slope and be disciplined about enforcing it, but that is for the resort area to resolve. A work around if you really want to learn to ski here is to go out of peak season.

Hello! I am going to visit Sölden for the third time in my life. I really enjoy this place! This time I am going to have a freeride (offpiste) guide. Do you have such guys at your school? What is the price for 4 persons? We have a medium freeride level of skills.

Hi,
Just got back in to the website.
We would like to book in for skiing lessons please as per our earlier email with one change.
We will be starting same day 31/3, but only have 4 days skiing. We arrive on afternoon of Thursday 31/3 and staying at Haus Sportiv. We leave on morning of 4/4 so will only ski until 3/4.
Lessons the same 31/3 to 2/4 as you Only hire of equipment would be one day less as it appears you pick it up the afternoon befor the first rental day.
Looked at Sport Brugger website and saw no service fee before 28/2 - should we book and pay for them on line? Also wanted to know what lift passes we need to buy - could you advise please?
Regards
Graeme

Hello, unfortunately I have not yet totally understood if you arrive on the 30th or wether you and your daughters are ready to ski on the 31st or already the 30th?
When you lend your equipment on arrival day, you will only pay from the day you actually ski.
The ski teacher will help you personally to get your ski equipment and ski pass. As a guest of our ski school you will not have to order online to have 15% discount. You can do it right here in Sölden.
When you want to book with Snowlines please give us your telephone number via e-mail info@snowlines.eu. We will sind you the bill by e-mail.
Thank you, and we hope to see you soon!
Greetings, Stephan

Hi, myself and 2 daughters (15 & 13) are coming to Solden late March/ early April. We are only there for 5 days and are only beginners as no snow anywhere near where we live in Australia.
We would like to take lessons and wanted to know what the best way for us to do it? The younger one is thinking she may want to switch to doing snowboarding while us others are skiing - is it a problem to have lessons for both of us at once?
We also need to know what equipment and clothes to hire (or buy if better to - just aware of luggage restrictions on airlines) and what passes we need.
Regards
Graeme

Hello Graeme,
Thank you so much for your request! Before we can give you an answer in
detail we need to know for how many hours and on which days you would like
to receive ski lessons.
We would be happy to help you to rent your ski equipment. In that case you
would get 15% discount. Our partner is Sport Brugger. The main sport shop
Sport Brugger is located in Dorfstraße 98. This is also where we have our
office.
Of course we can meet up on your arrival day to clarify our meeting point
for the next day and help you to get everything you need.
Offer for the rent for 5 days:
Ski Set Economy (4*) (ski, boots and poles)
price for your 15 year old daughter and yourself (per person): 124,00 EURO
price for your 13 year old daughter: 78,00 EURO
sum: 326,00 EURO
15% discount: 48,90 EURO
total sum (incl. 15% discount): 277,10 EURO
It is possible to rent the ski glasses, helmet, jacket, pants and gloves
in Sölden and you can also double check with a guide if it would make any
sense to buy it because you may have troubles with the luggage weight on
your flight back.
We recommend to rent ski and ski boots because of the high costs for
sports equipment when flying.
Please contact us by email or mobile to make an appointment so that we
will be in the office.
For private lessons I can offer you a 5% discount. We recomend a personal
trainer, because it is more efficient an far safer for three people.
Our experience has shown us that 3 days with 4h lessons each are the
minimum amount to learn the skiing skills effectively.
Our offer for private lessons for 3 people:
date: 31.03.2017 to 02.04.2017
time: 9am to 1.30pm (30 minutes break included)
price per day: 280,00 EURO
price for three days: 840,00 EURO
5% discount: 42,00 EURO
price total (incl. 5% discount): 798,00 EURO
In case you want to extend the days of training, you can do so if a coach
is still available.
We hope that our offer sounds suitable and are glad to hear from you soon.
If you have any questions please contact us anytime!
Greeting from sunny Sölden
Marlen
