We attended Mass here with our B&B host. It happened to be the Feast of St. George. After the first reading, the children of the parish presented a short play about St. George. The parish priest, who was Polish and spoke no English, gave us a tour of the parish community hall after Mass, Although we could not understand him, our B&B host translated his German for us. He was very welcoming and friendly. We were invited to join the parishioners for a traditional Tirolian lunch. The lunch was delicious, and the local parishioners were very friendly. It was a special day for us, that allowed us to be part of parish.

The original parish church of St. George and St. Nicholas was built in the beginning of the 14th century and renovated in the 17th century in the current late Gothic-Baroque style. It's quite a climb to get to the uphill located church, but it's worth the hike. Also the interior of the church is lovely, with nice stucco and paintworks and an the awesome decorated altar pieces. Admission is free.

A typical nice-looking baroque tyrolian village Church, surrounded by its neat and weel-kept churchyard, overlooking the village and the valley. Don't miss it.
