It the path is a nice walk across the mountain. You cross some ski areas and some potential avalanche areas. Part of the time is in the sun other times in the shade of the mountain. The path is ok for children. The 5 km route starts and ends in Holzgau. The bridge has no real use other than to allow for a circular walking route that crosses the gorge and as an attraction in itself. It is possible to go down to the town on the east side of the gorge without crossing the bridge. Worth a look.

While a little challenging if walking across on a windy day, concentrate on the other end of the bridge and enjoy the experience

Had a great time walking up to this bridge! At first we intended to try and drive however this was not an option. I was dubious about walking up to it, seeing how high up it looked from below, however the walk was around 20-30 minutes. All up hill, some might find it difficult, however there’s chance to stop along the winding path. One path takes you all the way to the bridge, it’s not difficult to find at all. The view from the top and along the bridge is well worth the walk, absolutely stunning. Other families with younger children were also walking up successfully. Great memory to have!

A breathtaking view. The weather will be a bit cold with rain drizzles. But it was very nice to walk around with an umbrella. It is also with a carriage along with a baby and can be easily moved on the bridge.

really great experience, but I was afraid I was overcome, the bridge is in beautiful countryside with stunning views and is absolutely safe even when you feel when moving along his legs, it's scary but it's worth the experience.

We made this tour with our friends. This bridge is impressive. One of our friend afraid from the bridges, but she also did it!!! When u go throw the bridge there is a beautiful tour route between the mountains, there are also a few chalets where to eat or drink something! It would be pity to miss it!!

The hangbridge is easy to reach. When walking over the bridge you have a very beautifully view in the valley.who dares to walk over the bridge without touching the railing ? I already did, just get in harmony with the wobbling of the bridge caused by you and the other walkers on the bridge. When you have crossed the bridge you can descend through the fields to Holzgau , perhaps you can spot a ree. Once you have arrived in Holzgau , with a short walk you can go under the hangbridge, you will be surprised how high the bridge is.When you are not tired yet, then you can climb a little bit more to the Simms wasserfallI, impressive. Descending down to Holzgau, you can eat and drink excellent with view on the bridge and the sound of the waterfall.

Our Scouts, Venture Scouts & Scouters had a unique challenge... to make it across Austria’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge; 200-meter long bridge that crosses Höhenbach Canyon at an incredible 110 meters above ground

The loved it! It's very safe but can be uneasy for those with a fear of heights but once you cross it you'll be glad you overcame it!

Take the stroll up from the town about 25 minutes and enjoy the experience
