from Ellmau you can use all the ski facilities that can be found in the Skiwelt area. No metter if you finish your day in an other village, since there are free skibus lines in every 15 minutes.

Not a bad area to ski. I think the only improvement to the area could be looking at removing some of the button lifts and replacing them with chair lifts. Apart from that not a bad area to ski.

Great resort that is a little under the radar. I've had great snow three years in a row in the 3rd week in December. Not a glamourous resort by any means, but great skiing, food and beer.

Pleasantly surprised with the skiing for beginners! The slopes are very gentle and easy to navigate which makes a perfect place for the less skilled or adventurous. Plenty of good restaurants to dine in within walking distance or with one of the four busses which...More

Ellmau is a wonderful village, it has three supermarket, three banks, a pharmacy, a shop that sells all toiletries, cafes and resteraunts and a large out door swimming pool with slides. The people are friendly and ther is always something going on.

Recommended place to stay for a SkiWelt and Tyrol tour by car. “Town” is very pleasant. Will probably stay at Kitzbuhel next time.

Ellmau is a fantastic town to visit in winter and summer. Always great skiing through over 300 km of slopes. But then comes summer where there is still an abundance of things to do. Cycling, golfing, hiking,!water parks etc
