If you want self service avoid 12:30-1:30 it's packed. The food is expensive but you're fairly limited on a mountain so you have to go with the flow.

Alot wil depend on the weather on the day. But yes it will be cold and there will most probably be snow. It's a glacier so at the top the temp won't rise much above freezing all year. Pack for the cold and hope for better... More

Hello Raf, I was using the Zell am See-Kaprun Summer Card. I was all free to unlimited use. But I understand that there are restrictions in July/August and I think the cost day pass is around 40 euro.
