We visited This mountain twice. There are many options to navigating your way to the top that include cable cars, chair lifts and walking. Worth the time.

Traveled as a family with a toddler. The cable car is quite accessible with strollers as well. Design is sleek!( it's by posche). Ascent is steep which is cool for young kids! Views of Lake Zell from the top are beautiful!

sorry, but your post was far too long to read, but it appears that you are thinking of driving from vienna to the grossglockner? really? have you looked at the distance and time required for that? nigh on impossible, and even if it was open which is unlikely, it could be a bad day so you would see zilch this is a totally ridiculous idea/ stay in vienna ad visit the wachau valley. or if you do not want to stay in vienna, just visit salzburg and its surrounds.

Hi, I am visiting Austria in early september. Can you pls advise good time of the day to visit these and durations these places will take: 1. Osttirodler Sommerrodelbahn, lienz Also, is it worth doing this with family. I have 5 yrs old son. 2. Kitzsteinhorn 3. Familienberg Maiskogel 4. Kapurn Reservoir 5. Schmittenhohe 6. Pinzgauer Lokalbahn As i have 4 days for these and hallstatt. Which of these i can avoid to spend relaxing time with family at some lake.
