Beautifully set area, green lawn, swimming pool with the a slide for toddlers happiness, a good restaurant and a bar, water sport&fun rental, nice entrance to the lake, lots of calm sporty people. Unfortunately there is no smoking/non smoking designated areas and bringing own alcohol beverages is allowed so expect some of your neighbors to be chain smokers with the pack of Gösser. Come early to get chairs and umbrellas.

Visited recently with my wife, didn’t eat or drink here but the place was clean and good fun with 3 diving boards into the lake and swimming pools for the less confident . We laid on the grass but there are sun loungers available.

Spent a couple of relaxed afternoons here while staying in Zell am See. As Brits, it’s always a surprise to see somewhere like this so clean and litter free. Great place to swim from and the kids enjoyed the diving boards and generally mucking about. We rented paddle boards a couple of times from the guys in the main kiosk (not from the hut on the waterfront) - 5€ for 30 mins (depending on who you pay you need to leave some form of ID as security). Lockers are available - you have to pay for these when you pay to get in not inside but it’s ok because you can go in and out with your ticket! Space for sunbathing but also plenty of shade. Lush.

Beautiful lake, fabulous strandbad, well kept and good value for lunch too. You can hire paddle boards from the strandbad for 5 Euro or you could hire them from the very rude man we met at Edis wasserskischule which is just nextdoor. He does slightly undercut the strandbad but beware, his kit is not as good and when something breaks as it did for us he then shouts at you and demands you pay for the damage to his low quality kit. We duly paid but Avoid, no point letting him spoil your day.

The kids loved the diving platforms and swimming out to the raft and the trampoline, all surrounded by magnificent scenery around the lake. Paradise!

Nice spot! Be wary of older fellow renting out paddle boards...he ripped off my kids:(
Paddle board should have been 14 euros for half an hour, which is a lot, but he harmed them 36euros! He gives rides in his boat and pulls skiers and sleds, etc. Disappointing!

Being fed by mountain water it does take your breath away when you enter the lake. I'm not saying you get used to it I think you skin numbs! But it is clean and clear, they say it is drinkable. The pool is cold too but do the lake first and it will feel warmer. The kids enjoyed swimming in the lake and are good swimmers so we could watch from a distance. There was a water trampoline and flaot to swim to which they enjoyed and we had to drag them away to go back for dinner. Not many holidays have snow sledging on mountain in the morning..3 course lunch at hotel...lake swimming in the afternoon. Again this Lido is free with the Summer Card. If you need a locker get this when you ask for tickets at the booth at entrance. I think it costs 5 euros and you get 4 back when you return the key.
