Nice trip via cable cars looks so different in summer. You could see how it looks when is no snow on pistes and you admire how can they make pistes on rocks. On the top there is snow whole year also very interesting. Quite strange but educatable is 360 m long tunnel with interesting presentation of nature park and making... More

This is a "not to be missed" ride to the top of Salzburg, which is at 3029 mtr above MSL. There are 3 different types of cable cars for different segments while going up, and the last one is a funicular ride. It was not very cold up there, as we went in September 2016, but the views of the... More

If you're visiting or staying in Kaprun this is a must.Try to go up the mountain in good weather if possible to experience the fantastic views,we enjoyed the freedom of the free card for the resort so we could go up many times but if your paying to get value for for money a clear day is better.Once at the... A nice excursion to the top of this mountain which offers an alpine center, a museum, a cinema, and a couple if restaurants. The views are amazing and great for photography.

We spent our 25th wedding anniversary here. It was stunning, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Beautiful views at every point. Easy access for most abilities. We wish we had time for a second visit. We visited this as part of the Zell summer card offers. Great cafe at the top!

Were so fortunate to be there on a sunny day. 3 cable cars, 1 packed, 1 like the ski chair car type (Optional to close) and third like a big cable car takes you to the top and let you feel the heaven on earth. Top viewing point building is in 3 floors. Ground one (Where cable car drops you)... More

If the weather is kind this is a MUST DO for anyone visiting the area. We stayed in Kaprun and went there on the local Post Bus (1 euro with the Sumer Pass that als allows FREE access to the cable cars going all the way up the Kitzsteinhorn) The views from the top are breath-taking and the pedestrian tunnel... Magnificent views at 3029 metres, this is Salzburg's highest panoramic platform, with tremendous views into the valley. Also you are at eye level with the Glossglockner. You do not need climbing skills here. Again summer card saved us 40 euros. Here is the National Gallery, a 360 metre mine shaft, goes through the Kitzsteinhorn peak, very nice restaurant here, lots... More

A long trip up with three different types of cable cars. Magnificent view. The kids had a ball playing in the snow (mostly up and down the hill on plastic toys). It is cold - so dress as if you are going to ski.

Being so high up is amazing! The bridges hanging free high above the slopes were thrilling And the tunnel cut through the top- what a masterpiece of work. Go visit it!
