Overview
More
Due to a rockfall, the gorge Liechtensteinklamm is closed for the entire season 2017. We apologize for any inconveniences! The gorge Liechtensteinklamm, one of the longest and deepest white water gorges in the Alps, is an outing destination for the whole family, located only 30 min away from the City of Salzburg. This natural phenomenon in the heart of Salzburg is well worth the visit the whole summer.

Great place for an easy to access outdoor adventure. There is a restaurant at the entrance where you can reward yourself with a local beer at the end of your hike.

This was such a fun and not too difficult walk. It's a beautiful path through gorges ending at a lovely waterfall. The path is well maintained and at times you are on wooden walkways, going through tunnels and occasionally climbing some stairs. Kids can easily...More

The Liechtensteinklamm is a very exciting gorge. You only need one hour to explore and it's very easy to go through also for children. The views are amazing!

Very nice, refreshing, nice views, not too difficult, easy to get there. Even if you only have couple hours to allocate - go there

Liechtensteinklamm was a stop we made between Hallstatt and Innsbruck which wasn't really on the way but it was a nice little detour. The gorge is very beautiful and only takes about an hour to walk up and down. At the end there is a...More

Breathtaking views around every corner. Very safe and great value for the money. Even the souvenir shops at end of visit are not over priced. A must see!

Takes about an hour to walk through and back. Unique views of the gorge, river and waterfall. Bring a rainjacket for the water spray. I would rate the walk as easy.

The entrance is included in the Salzburgerland card. What a beautiful place. It is easily accessible. We walked up for about 45 minutes with a three year old child. The scenery is unbelievable. The roar of the water impressive. This is definitely a must see.

This was very close to St. Johann. Wow, fantastic! It was beautiful, with the sound of the rushing water, cutting through the gorge. Beautiful views at every turn. The hiking was easy, but not handicap accessible at all. There are lots of steps and platforms...More

Not really. I felt very safe. Might be too much if you're afraid of heights. Also there are several tunnels you walk through and a staircase to climb.
