All you need for cycling around
Jul 2021
The whole area is a proper bike and ski circus. You will need many days to check all trails, restaurants and installations. Lifts are perfectly located and the joker card makes it easy. Just take your bike and enjoy it!

so far my favorite bike area in Austria
Jul 2021
This is so far my most favorite bike area in Austria, there's just so many options to choose from due to being able to use all the lifts on both sides of the valley and the easy connection to Leogang if you need downhill action.

The paradise of the bike
Aug 2019
Saalbach-Hinterglemm is the paradise of the mtbikers! An amazing choice of trails, with different difficulties and landscapes. I went there for the fourth time in a few years, and I will come back again. Strongly recommended for everyone who likes enduro-downhill and also mtb in general.

Perfect Viking in saalbach
Jul 2019 • Family
Saalbach is top biking resort if you want to come and enjoy with your family with grown children. The only issue is: if you have small children (means younger than 6-7) I do not recommend to visit as your children will be afraid of the steep roads and you will not enjoy the stay

best trails ever
Aug 2017 • Friends
me and my friend had this 10 days bike trip on Alps bike parks. We rode almost every DH track in most bike parks and we decide to have an enduro day as a ''day off'' from brutal trails and riding. We did the big 5 enduro tour in Saalbach and it turned out to be our best day of all trip!We rode almost 70km of trails(mostly descenting) and we enjoyed every moment!A must do for every mtb rider out there!

Great biking
Jul 2017 • Couples
The circuit is well laid out and is used by many, it can get a bit crowded, when we were there it was the mountain bike weekend event so busier than normal. As long as you wear the correct safety clothing not a problem.

Some of Austria's best lift served mountain biking
Sep 2016 • Friends
Nice selection of trails for all ability levels, possibly the largest lift-served mountain biking area in Austria. My favorite trail is the Hacklberg. Like most European mountain biking areas, they seem to be struggling to keep the trails smooth given the high volume of usage and limited investment in equipment, personnel, and materials.

Best MTB experience. Ever.

Holy cow was this place worth the drive from Munich. I have never had more of a blast than i did here doing the downhills. The whole town shifts gear in the summer to become a bonafide mountain bike Mecca. Hotels are all in on it providing you with a card that lets you ride the lifts as much as you want. They also have secure bike storage facilities as well so you dont have to lug your precious bike up to the room every night. The trails here are remarkably varied. There is at least one for each skill level. X-line is awesome but not for the unskilled. My personal favorite was the hacklberg trail... though it required some work before play in the form of an additional climb after the lift ride on the schattberg express. There are a couple places to grab drinks on the way down that will allow you to take in some of the most excellent scenery. The only complaint i have is that the lift card expires in the middle of the day on your last day. I had to pay 10 euro a lift after that. So it kind of cut my fun short considering that i was only there for a couple nights.

Amazing Bike Trails
Jun 2016 • Business
There seem to be mountain bike trails set up all over the mountains and for a range of abilities. They appeared to be having an amazing time and it has brought a lot of younger ones to the mountains in the summertime which must be good for the village. But, as I have only just started riding a bike again after many years, we stayed on the picturesque path alongside the river up and up to the end of the valley! The whole village is very bike friendly.
