If you are in Kaprun, especialy in Winter time you should visit this church. It is very close to the village center, next to Maiskogel ski resort, and has an excellent view of Kaprun and Kitzsteinhorn.

This is well worth the climb because it is a beautiful little church with wonderful views of the mountains, and an interesting churchyard.

A beautiful church set in an elevated position overlooking Kaprun, offering some fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Much bigger on the outside than it is on the inside, but still worth a visit.

Typical pretty Austrian church, very well looked after. It completes the view. The steps up are well worth climbing.

Lots of steps to climb but very pretty inside & well kept. Small church at top of many steps. When we opened the door it was so pretty inside with lovely stain glass windows.

It was only a brief visit to a major landmark but worth the exercise climbing the steps both during the day and on a crisp clear night.
