Nice for when you need a relaxing day between big hikes but still want to see how impressive nature can be. Info centre is really interesting and the gorge is great fun

What a beautiful gorge with several waterfalls - particularly refreshing during the heatwave that reigned during our visit to Austria. Walk to the invigorating sound of rushing water, climbing wooden flights of stairs and sheltered by trees.

We went to this place at night cause they promised to do a tour with torches above the river. After we paid for the tour, they told us no torches cause weather is dry, gave us light sticks instead. At the end of the tour,...More

Before you go in there is interesting exhibition on how they make their hydro electric. The gorge itself is a pleasant and cool walk along a boardwalk. You exit at the top and have a choice to go back to the entrance or carry on...More

Very enjoyable for family with kids. You must get into the water, which is by the way cold. Have some clothes to change as you will get wet. I wish they have a picnic area for barbecue, but it is not allowed.

It's a very scenic place. We saw the rainbow when we we here. It requires a walk of probably 30 minutes with steps to reach at the top & then there is road to return back.Overall very nice experience.

A good thing to do if visibility is poor and it's raining this place is wet anyway! Also visited when the light show was on (not included with the summer card). Pretty-well worth a visit

30 minute walk or a short drive from Kaprun Centre. Definitely worth a visit as the views are amazing!

A great place to visit. If you are staying in nearby area, some of your hosts can give you local card, which grants entrance to this amazing place for free, otherwise it's pretty cheap and worth it. Parking is nearby and also for free.
