Following two days rain we had an amazing experience at the Gorge - the power of the water in the gorge following by a quiet peaceful walk around the lake through the conservation area was an amazing contrast - will try and fit in a second visit before going home. Walk back into Kaprun only took about 20 minutes.

Very near Kaprun and on the main bus route, this is a lovely short gorge walk to Klamsee which you can also walk around. A wooden constructed staircase enables the walker to get inside the gorge and very close to the many waterfalls and rocks of the gorge. The walk is one way with a return route via a different... The power of the water in there is awesome. I can't hardly see how they made that wooden walkway mounted on the side of those cliffs. A master piece.

This was a stunning walk through a gorge and beautiful forest scenery, it was like you were walking along the water, it was steep in places but surprisingly easy going. When you get to the waterfall you are rewarded with the most beautiful view of the lake and surrounding mountains. It is only a short distance outside of Kaprun with... More

A drizzly day in zell am see so we set out to walk the Kaprun gorge with our 7year old and 3 year old in tow. They both found it of interest and found the walk easy. They loved getting splashed by the waterfalls and the adventure of the descent through the woods. Doesn't take long, so it's an easy... More

Beautiful place. Took lots of pictures. It was an amazing experience except when we wanted to leave the exit is not so clear. So we had to walk quite a bit to find our way out.

good value for 5 euros. The wooden bridge could be sl up slippery but nothing dangerous. Keep going ahead till the reservoir at the top where is quiet and tranquil.

It doesn't take long getting there from town. The hike is not as long as I was expecting. It is nice being able to walk through something like this
