Chickens and goats are living on the farm. The house was open. A farm from the 20s and 30s. A butter churn, converted indoor plumbing. Nice middle class home for a farm.

Great to see how barren his early years were. Staff very friendly explaining more about his life. His story reminds us how important hard work and reading are to shaping character and thinking. I highly recommend a stop!

I reviewed this farm on the National Historic Site. This is a must see. Lots of history here of how farm life used to be. Live animals and other exhibits make it worth the trip!

I loved seeing Jimmy Carter's boyhood home. It was fascinating to me to see all the different crops that they grow there. I also liked learning about how mules used to be used, and seeing the old buildings in person after hearing President Carter describe...More

See the old farm house that our 39th President lived in. A great visit filled with history. See the peanuts, and pecans growing. Great for kids or adults.

The farm is one part of the national historic site. It has been restored to looks as much as possible like it did when Carter was growing up, and the farm includes many animals. This is not a good place for a visit on a...More

We really enjoyed seeing this boyhood home of Jimmy Carter. It is not furnished with items from his family, but rather things characteristic of that time period. Very interesting nonetheless. There is a button you can push to hear a recording of the former president...More
