We have ridden on many Alpine slides in the United States but this was a bit different. You have a seatbelt and it rides on a track so there's no chance of flying off the track when going fast like on other alpine slides. They...More

I went here with my husband, 2 children age 10 and 2yrs 6 months and my parents in their late 60's. The place is beautiful. You can walk, however, I'd imagine this would take a very long time, or get the chair lift to the...More

I was staying in Salzburg so had to use public transport (use the OBB app or website for details). It was easy though to get a train to Hallein from Salzburg and then a bus up to Bad Durrnberg. The bus stop is directly opposite...More

Amazing!!!! That was amazing!! Absolutely must to visit! + view. Only for sunny days - it may be overcrowded. BUT, despite of huge line for a lift, it moves very fast. - I would not recommend to visit with small kids. - it may be...More

I highly recommend this attraction. We were very fortunate that this day, October 15th was an absolutely gorgeous sunny day and the weather was fabulous. The ski lift up has breath taking views.

This is a fantastic place for the family to have fun. Take a ski lift to the top and a toboggan run down. The only problem is its very busy on weekends and many people with children tend to go very slow or stop. This...More

We visited after going to The Eagles Nest as it's only about 15 minutes drive. We bought a two ride family ticket using our Tennengau cards for a reasonable €45. For an unclear reason we had to wait along with everyone else about 30 minutes...More

If you have a sunny warm day, this is one of the most enjoyable things you could do, with the added bonus of some spectacular views. Great fun. For those wanting to skip the toboggan ride, you can take the chair lift both up and...More

We stopped at the Sommerrodelbahn after the salt mine. It was so much fun and our first Sommerrodelbahn in Europe. If you're traveling through Austria, try the one in Imst as well. Smile for the picture at the bottom!

The Keltenblitz Sommerrodelbahn is well worth a visit. At 2.2km this is Salzburgs longest toboggan slide. The cost is €9.60 per person and this includes a ski chair lift up to the top of the mountain and the toboggan to come racing down. The toboggan...More

I have a question. It looks so fun but quite scary. I think I am OK. But I am concerned about my little girl, 7 years old. Is it OK for 7 years girl? Can we ride together, 1 adualt and 1 child?
