Worth a stop after ending, or starting the High Alpine Road. Beautiful church in an easy to park setting. There are great places to take pictures of the church with the mountains in the background.

This is a very nice church in Heiligenblut and worth a visit if you are here. The altar is fantastic and the graveyard intriguing. Most graves from 2 families and sadly a lot of young people are buried here.

This church is Heiligenblut. It’s beyond beautiful, it’s spiritual. There is a legend about this church and worth reading before going. I have to say it’s my favorite place on earth.

This is one of the most beautiful churches we have ever seen. It dominates the town of Heiligenblut with its towering spire, and the inside of the church is equally as impressive. The little cemetery that surrounds the outside of the church is worth taking...More

Although we only visited Heiligenblut for one night, we visited the church twice, once in the evening and once the next morning because we loved it so much. Graves are lovingly cared for and kept beautifully adorned with plants and flowers. This is a must...More
