We booked a package to go to the Circle B Chuck Wagon dinner and the Crazy Horse Laser show. A couple of days before the pickup, we received an email that the Circle B was closed due to the Sturgis bike meeting. They offered us to go to the Sylvan Lake restaurant instead or just cancel the package. We decided... More

Started off on wrong foot, showed up 30 minutes late. Van was old, dirty, and uncomfortable. Total time of tour was 7 1/2 hours. The 3 main stops at Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park Visitors Center, and the Crazy Horse Memorial are excellent places, but time allowed there not sufficient. Approximately 4 hours of the 7 1/2 hours was driving... More

Dishonest owner. I highly suggest you avoid this company for many reasons. We booked a guided tour and we pretty much received a shuttle service. The driver refused to use the microphone and he barely talked on the tour. When he did speak we couldn't hear him. At one of our first stops, we asked the driver why he wasn't... More

We were picked up and dropped off at our motel by excellent guide - Steve. He was so helpful and had a great insight into all things local. We got to see Sylvan Lake, drove on the famous Iron Mtn Road (twists and turns galore). Had to wait in Custer State Park while several buffalo meandered across the road. Of... More

Very informative tour to some spectacular views with knowledgeable guides. Huge groups of 2-3 coach loads at a time so very busy, if you prefer to quietly enjoy nature i would recommend hiring a car.

You might be able to see the monuments and attractions driving on your own, but if you want to really treat yourself Golden Circle Tours is a great way to see the sights. You have an early morning pick up at your hotel in Custer, they do the driving and give you the fun facts and history of the area.... More

Our guide, Bev, was great. Very friendly, knowledgeable and kept the tour exciting. The van, however, was horrendous. Very difficult to get in and out of, seats had little cushioning and springs poking through. There were no cup holders and the seatbelt's were useless. Can not recommend because of the vehicle.

After driving an rv across the country it was excellent to leave it parked and let someone else navigate the technical and scenic highways. Frequent stops to view wildlife and plenty of time at major attractions. Guide used to be a science.teacher and was a wealth of.knowledge on many of the trees animals and forestry facts we needed to know... More

Dick, our driver took us on an all day tour of the area. he is very knowledgeable and gave us a perspective I don't think you can get any other way. We went to Sylvan lake, Coolidge lookout, through most of Custer State Park, with great wildlife, Crazy Horse memorial, Mt Rushmore and more. You have to dedicato a day but... More
