New Orleans is infamous for its spooky past, filled with tales of voodoo, vampires, ghosts, and witches. During this walking tour, save time with a guide who knows the quickest routes around the Big Easy and brings the folklore and history of the city to life, all during the creepiest time of day—the night. We found a band here that we enjoyed and went to hear them 2 nights in a row. However, our 2nd night was tainted when we had just started drinking our 2nd drink and were dancing right near our table when we turned around, they had come along and cleared our glasses (empty and full!!). Needless to say we were not happy. It took me complaining to 2 different people and asking for a manager when they finally comped us new drinks. Also, the band started at 7 and the size of our drink at 7:00 was larger than the 2nd ones we bought later. Plus our jackets were on the stool by the table, so they should have known we didn’t leave. What a scam!!

If this was yesterday, I would have given a 5 star simply because of the band. Most fun in a long time. Acoustics great, singing great, crowd great. At first slow, asked them to play Tennessee Whiskey and the crowds started pouring in. A good fun crowd. Drinks mediocre and double price. Assume paying for a great band. Monday a great crowd. Today, the band's keyboard player back. So loud, you could not hear the singers. So the previously great music that distinguished this bar from every other ordinary bar in NO was changed. No longer special. Not even good. A private escort or hooker in there dancing for her guy. I bet 20 people walked in, heard the band, saw the hooker, turned around and walked right back out. How do I know a hooker. Guy a fat, old tourist. Girl half his age, fake boobs, thin, dancing for him while he filmed her. Shaking her hair all over him. Shaking her low cut top and boobs in his face. Oh, did I mention, she was friends with the key board player. They obviously knew each other. That was evident when she first walked in the door. When we complained to the bartender, she just shrugged. Tried to call so could talk to management, no one would answer. For one fat old man trying to be young, they lost numerous customers. I wanted to go up to him, take his picture, post on facebook, and ask who had a missing husband, because I knew where he was. And it was ruining everyone else's good time. Yesterday, stayed 5 hours. Today 30 minutes.

Bourbon St is filled with music bars and it almost becomes just a "Noise" but when we heard the sound of the band as we walked the street we had to go in. The band, Chicken On The Bone were excellent with different members taking lead vocals which gave a fresher sound to some of their cover versions. Great musicians with a punchy approach and it was no surprise when the number of people in the bar continued to grow. There isn't a lot in the way of seating and the main area becomes a dance floor which is fine. If it wasn't for an early start the next morning I would have happily stayed until their set was done

Discovered this place in 2015 and keep coming back when in the French Quarter. They have great live music and keep the drinks pouring. This is hands down my favorite bar for live music on Bourbon Street. They also have an upstairs balcony to look over bourbon street

Wonderful place to listen to great live music and enjoy good beverages. Happy hour is a great value and we ended up going two days in a row. Truly enjoyed Chicken on the Bone band. Suggest sitting at the back bar where music isn’t as loud and still able to talk with friends.
