We took the literary tour with Robert Florence. Our small group enjoyed the shared readings at literary landmarks, hearing anecdotes about Faulkner, Tennessee Williams, Alice Dunbar Nelson, and other poets, novelists, playwrights, editors, and enablers. The walking tour took us to bars, hotels, churchyards, courtyards, and balconies where the work was inspired or got put on paper. Great way to spend a morning in the Vieux Carre. Excellent tour guides for a well-planned tour.

Dave was awesome, great knowledge of the area and amiable disposition. Unable to actually go in cemetery due to archdiocese closing. Great historical context, cultural information and we loved that he’s native to the area. Would highly recommend for young and old.
