A truly great experience. Whether you are a local or someone visiting New Orleans this Garden City and Cemetary tour was highly informative and fun. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable with a passion for the city and its interesting history. I would highly recommend it and plan to also go on their Ghost, History, Mystery walking tour.
Thanks again for a great experience and we will definitely be recommending your tour.

My friends and I took a Royal Carriage ride around New Orleans on a rainy day in May. Our driver, Fiona S drove Chicory the Mule. She was so much fun in giving us a tour of New Orleans that we soon forgot about the weather. I recorded a video of Fiona telling my horse loving granddaughter all about Chicory. She loved it. Thank you again Fiona, you are awesome.

We had a great time on our Garden District tour of New Orleans. our guide Jason was knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting stories about the neighbourhood and the architecture. We weren't able to go into the cemetery as this has been closed for some time so something to be aware of if booking this tour, however we were able to see quite a bit from the gates and Jason was able to explain the uniqueness of the New Orleans cemeteries and burial practices. Having Jason's perspective as a lifeeling New Orleans local was also very special. This your is a great way to get the lay of the land in the Garden District.

We are happy to hear that our guide made it worthwhile with sharing all his knowledge about the cemetery even if visitors are not allowed in right now. This had to be the most boring tour I've ever been on. The tour guide had a dry, monotone voice that did nothing to encourage curiosity or enjoyment. His voice was so low, I could barely hear him over the ruckus of the passing cars which wasn't his fault however, he didn't stop talking while these loud cars drove by, he used his low, sad voice to try to continue the story, causing everyone to struggle to hear. At one point, he took us to a parking lot (yes, i parking lot) and told a story right in the middle, amongst cars, bright lights, and loud cars, there was no way I could enjoy myself or care what he waa saying. I couldnt believe one of the scary tour locations was on a parking lot. His lack of enthusiasm, his lack of flare, his few attempts at humor were cringe worthy. The few stories i coild hear sounded interesting but coming from his mouth, it was like he was reading a social science book, written in Japanese. My husband and I decided to leave to tour early because we couldn't stand it any longer. Total waste of money and time.

I urge you! Don't do the regular walking tours. Do a cemetery tour or swamp tour. I regret it everyday that I chose this tour!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are sorry to hear you did not personally enjoy our Ghost, History, Murder and Mystery Tour. We have crafted all our tours to highlight the history and mystery of New Orleans and our tour guide does an excellent job of delivering the information in a unique and captivating way. The guide on this tour is five-star rated and we are proud to have him and are confident in his method of delivery and content of the tour. We also know that with age comes a wisdom and collection of stories that makes our tours even more enjoyable to listen to. The location of the parking lot was important to the story our guide was telling as it is the actual location of the horrific incident. While we are not able to control the level of noise in the city, we have been made aware that your group was disruptive to other guests and our guide did his best to deliver the tour despite the intoxicated behavior. We have also been made aware that you canceled part of your group's reservation and attended the tour without properly paying for your spots. All of the different varieties of tours in New Orleans offers something for every interest and we wish you well in choosing one next time that better fits you.

Our tour guide was Mr. Robert Bell. The tour was a highlight of our trip. I enjoyed the historic homes, the information we took in was very interesting. Bob was knowledgeable and a great guide to get a feel for NOLA!! The private tour is worth the extra money.

This tour was nothing short of amazing! Our guide was charismatic and super knowledgeable about all of the locations on the tour. With stops for drinks between soaking up the wonderful history along the way, I was blown away at how many interesting things were out there that I may have otherwise just walked by without noticing had it not been for our amazing tour guide, Paula.

I highly recommend this tour to tourists and locals alike. I've taken tours with a few other guides, and New Orleans Top Tours was by far the best. It wasn't even close.

We did a ghost history and murder tour in New Orleans with Bob. It was a small group, but Bob was great. Very friendly, funny, and interesting, even from a sceptic such as myself. Greetings from the UK, bob.

We took the garden district tour, an hour and a half ride through downtown New Orleans. On my own I might have done a walking tour, but my mother is unable to walk for very long. This proved a delightful alternative! It was pricey ($300, which included a hotel pick up in French Quarter), but riding in an open carriage through the streets of New Orleans was truly memorable. Our guide Jamie filled us in on the history of New Orleans until we arrived at the garden district where we felt we had plenty of time to gawk at the lovely houses, even walk through a cemetery. Jamie was quite knowledgeable about the district's history, architecture and current residents.
Their website details other shorter drives, but it seemed like a good idea to make reservations for this one and that did involve leaving messages and a bit of back and forth - over the course of a day. The carriage was in good shape and our mule, Daisy had a great temperament, besides being rather gorgeous.

We had a fantastic time doing a carriage ride from Jackson Square. We had passed them up on more than one occasion before finally deciding to do it. I'm glad we did.
The driver's name was Dave, with Good Old Days and he gave us a great ride with lots of interesting stories about NO. We went about 8pm or so and the streets were lively with people. The ride through Frenhman St was especially fun. It was all good and cost $18 ea for 30 minutes, but actually lasted longer.

My girlfriend and I decided to try a carriage ride after a long day of walking through the French Quarter. Carriages lined up behind Jackson Square, and we climbed into one which had four other passengers and was ready to head to St. Louis Cemetery No. 1. We looked forward to visiting the tomb of Marie Lavoie, the voodoo queen. The driver was adept at maneuvering the busy streets, but offered little substantive information about the French Quarter or Marie. He did offer a few interesting tidbits about actor Nicholas Cage, who built a controversial tomb in the cemetery. It was a hot day, and water was available for purchase at the cemetery. If you take a carriage ride, take some time to select a driver with a gift of gab and good knowledge of the French Quarter and cemetery. Cost was $36 each for a one-hour tour.
