We went on a tour with a different company, and it was disappointing and boring. This one I saw inside more Cemetaries and felt was more personal. My mom and I had a good time and I'm sure when I get back to New Orleans again, I'll be wanting to take more tours with Bloody Mary.:)

Gina was very friendly, detailed and funny. It was just me and my wife so the tour felt very personal. We enjoyed the stories and legends and the history. Even though I am a fan of all things witchy/mystical/voodoo etc I heard so many new stuff. A+

Our guide didn't sensationalize New Orleans and its history, like many other tour guide do. Very legit!!!!

Gina was a great tour guide. She has lived in the city for a long time and knew her stuff. She also let us pick her brain about witches and voodoo. I expected it to be a little more showy I guess. Costumes, spells voodoo dolls or something etc., It is not like that.

We took 2 tours, the Ghost Tour and the Cemetery tour. A tour is as good as its tour guide. Our tour guide was Gina and she was very knowledgeable about all the history in New Orleans and alot of fun. My brother in law said "I've lived here all my life and I learned more on these tours than... More

Bloody Mary offers extremely comprehensive tours regarding the history of New Orleans and its culture. She was knowledgable, adept, engaging, as well as entertaining throughout the whole tour and clearly speaks from years of experience and showcases her love of and for her hometown, New Orleans. The walking cemetery tour shed much light upon the customs and history of NOLA's... More

Disappointed by this tour - time went by very slowly with random stories that weren't focused or exciting. If you are looking to be frightened or excited or educated, this tour is not a good choice

Gina was a great guide. She was fun with lots of facts, easy going. We had our two teenage boys with us and they enjoyed the tour. It was at night which made it more exciting.

I went on the cemetery tour, and my guide was great and provided a lot of fun and interesting information. It included a driving portion and walking portion in the tour, which I found great considering it was very hot. The guide was personable and I felt she made the tour very enjoyable. I wish I could remember her name.... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
