My fiancee (now wife) and I decided to get eloped. We drove from Michigan all the way down to New Orleans. We had some difficulties filling out some of the marriage paperwork but she was so helpful and so patient with us. We did the ceremony which was so beautiful and spiritual. She was feeling a litte under the weather... More

I'm so upset I can't remember her name, but we took 2 different tours with a beautiful blonde woman that was full of spunk and was incredibly knowledgeable about the city and all of its spooks. I came to New Orleans for the ghosts. I came to this city for the haunted history, and my trip was successful thanks to... More

Cemetery and voodoo doll workshop with my 13 yr old red bull ghost (ask Gina). The pick up was simple. The tour amazing and the guide was the absolute BEST. Super knowledgeable and kind. Is this the least expensive tour out there? No. Was it worth every penny . YAS!

I just love Gina and Mary. They are so knowledgeable and fun and easy to talk too. We did a van tour and were so pleased they were able to accommodate us last minute.

This tour was highly rated, but disappointing for our group. We went on a moonlit graveyard walk with four fifteen year old boys. The boys wanted to hear about ghosts. We heard about the history behind the graveyards - cost of marble, stained glass, etc. My impression was the tour guide had not expected a group this young.

Although it rained, the tour was better in the bus. I learned a lot of history. It's a good trip to learn about the cemeteries.

The guide was pleasant but this ghost tour had very little to do with ghosts. Most of the 3 1/2 hours was spent driving to, and around cemeteries. The one they chose to walk through was the least interesting of them all. We got to the haunted house location and they sent us through with absolutely no history or explanation... More

It was fine. I was hoping it would be a lot scarier and creepier. That being said it was very factual and informative, just not super exciting.

We went on a tour with a different company, and it was disappointing and boring. This one I saw inside more Cemetaries and felt was more personal. My mom and I had a good time and I'm sure when I get back to New Orleans again, I'll be wanting to take more tours with Bloody Mary.:)

Staying in French Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
