The Outlet Collection at Riverwalk is the nation's first downtown outlet center. We are a vibrant waterfront destination offering upscale fashion, local culinary flavors and the revelry one would expect to find in the City of New Orleans.

Largely a deserted place. A couple of high end stores but not much but any real bargains. The outside could stand a good cleaning, lots of debris. So disappointed.

These outlets were located right next to my hotel (Hilton Riverside) and within spitting distance of the Convention Center. There is a nice variety of shops and eateries with great air conditioning...need I say more?

That and a river view are the two top features. I shop regularly at Last Call and The Rack. And, there were very meager pickings here. I bought some underwear from the Calvin Klein outlet; that was it.

The location is so convenient to where we stayed. We were able to walk right thru the hotel to get there. The shops had decent priced items. The long line for Cafe Du Monde was a little discouraging but that was to be expected since...More

You can find good deals at this outlet mall but you will be yelled at from kiosks workers trying to give you samples. Once you stop they will keep you there longer trying to sell their product. Something should be done, I don't know why...More

This Riverwalk Outlet is nice and long if you don’t mind to walk down the elongated outlet mall. The entrance is located close to the end of Canal Street with the outlet mall parallels to the Mississippi River. In the middle session of the mall,...More

We called in to get out of the sun and yes there a lot of shops and some higher end retailers but tbh it's just another shopping mall with nothing new or different to offer.

We shopped here one time during our stay, but walked through it several times going back and forth from the Marriot Convention Center to the park along the Mississippi River, stopping for food and drinks. It's a nice clean mall with nice stores. The problem...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

Mardi Gras World is on the same side of the river as the Riverwalk. You should check of accessibility from Riverwalk as it might be more of distance than can be comfortably walk by the kids.
