A good storyteller makes this or breaks this. Ask for Gabriel Franks if possible, he does an excellent job.

We had Jack as our tour guide. He was fantastic! He had everyone on the edge of his seat, and great at answering questions.

Our tour guide was Lisa. She was very knowledgeable about each stop. Willing to answer questions. The tour provided information as to how some norms began and transformed.

HHT does a number of tours...we took the one to St. Louis #1 cemetery and it was excellent. Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable about both the cemetary and New Orleans history. His good sense of humor made the tour even better.

My family attended the French Quarter Ghost Tour, the long haired guy that took your $25 per person was a complete jerk. I would not recommend this boring tour to no one, it walks you within a 2-3 block radius while other tours are going...More

Hi Snapkris, Well, I'm sorry that you apparently didn't like anything about the tour. I will say, based on the Five Star Reviews we receive on a daily basis, you are in the minority. For one, you're the first person to ever complain about 'the...More

We did this tour on a Sunday evening on a holiday weekend so New Orleans was very busy - so there were some mitigating circumstances but the start to this tour was chaotic to say the least. Hundreds of people were herded against the edge...More

Hi, and thank you for the honest review. Haunted History Tours prides itself in offering the best Ghost Tours in New Orleans, and probably the entire country. Our many 5 Star reviews will attest to that. We fully expect that our tour participants will walk...More

Our family did the cemetary tour. While the cemetary and the facts about it were interested our guide made the tour unpleasant. She was boring and acted like she didn't want to be there.More

We got this tour with our New Orleans pass. If I would have paid money I would have been disappointed. The guide was knowledgeable about the places we went. There was a break at the Blacksmith bar. The stories were sad and entertaining but not...More

We had the best tour guide, Brent. He knew a lot of the history and it was fun hearing the stories and some of the hauntings. The Romeo spikes were probably my favorite story, I didn't know that even such a thing existed!

My wife, two teenagers, and I had a fantastic time last night with Lisa. She kept us all fascinated by the details of the stories of New Orleans vampires and vampire folklore. I would highly recommend Haunted History Tours (and ask for Lisa- she was...More

French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty
Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port
of call for folks in search of a good time and a great

around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively
well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the

We have the New Orleans Power Pass that includes this tour and would LOVE to do it. But, we have a 3 year old. I work for Disney and we go to the parks every week, where her favorite ride is Haunted Mansion. So, "Grim, Grinning Ghosts," don't bother her. But I see on the website ticket prices start at age 6. Is this the youngest age you permit?

Hi Rachel, We permit any age. 5 and under are free. While the tour is not 'inappropriate' for kids, it is geared to an adult audience. These are real stories about real hauntings in our city's history. She may just be... More
