Rawhide 2010 is the only Leather/Levi bar in the French Quarter. Rawhide is a "man's" bar located just off the world famous Bourbon Street. It is well known for it's late night parties every weekend that go well in the the morning hours.
Went there after 4 am on Friday night during Southern Decadence 2018 and they wanted to charge me a $20 cover charge so I could go in and pay their jacked up drink prices of $6 a cocktail which normally cost $4 any other time!...More
Both toilets in this bar were stopped up and overflowing with crap. I pointed this out to the bartender and he simply didn't care. I mentioned it again about 20 minutes later and again he dismissed me. I was shocked.

So many of the bars in the French Quarter are so overpriced and just are not a pleasant hang out spot, but, this bar is friendly, reasonably priced and the staff is nice. I have visited at night and also in the middle of the...More
Rawhide is a bit off the beaten path, but it's a fun place. The bartenders are very nice. They have some specialty nights (like Black Out Thursday) where the action in the back can get very interesting. I've hooked up with people inside the bar...More
No doubt a place that would scare many while exciting those seeking a unique bar experience. Mostly gay men can be found in this dimly lit bar with great adult beverages. You will see guys dressed from full leather to Jeans to just jock straps...More
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the
Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
