Drew, the best bartender in the land - jello shots, popcorn, PERFECT Cosmo's, great juke box & fun crowd. Spend a bit too much time here! Great French Quarter bar.

We happened on this bar by accident but then went back all 5 nights we were in town for at least one drink. Friendly staff, wonderful drinks, and great locals inhabit this little part of the quarter.

Must see! Reba Douglas' Sunday Jubilee every Sunday at 5pm. No cover. Lots of laughs. Cheap drinks. Local crowd. Lots of fun.

I could stop in the Golden Lantern every day! (And I'm straight, but the bar isn't necessarily). They had the best bloody mary's and I was on a bloodymary tour on this trip. What a great value for Bourbon Street boozery. Stop in say hi!

We came in for the worlds best Bloody Mary's and they did not disappoint! We then found ourselves hanging out even longer with some shots in hand that seemed to never stop. The band that was playing was a sound that brought us back to...More

We stopped in around 9am on a Thursday morning and had a delicious Bloody Mary. Even better than Tableau's. Bartender was friendly and I would definitely go back!

This is the one place we met some of the finest folks in New Orleans. Small, quaint and the crowd is varied and ever changing. Bartenders are the bomb!

If you want to escape the feeling of being a tourist who is being ripped off by uninterested bartenders, I would highly recommend the Golden Lantern. It's a great neighbor bar which is tourist friendly. Drinks are stiff, inexpensive and served by great bartenders. I...More

After reading all the reviews about this place, we were really looking forward to it, but maybe we're getting too old--the noise level was way up there and it just didn't seem that welcoming. Maybe it was the fact that it was a Saturday night....More

well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the

I would go at least an hour early if you want to claim a table in back show room. The bar area seats get cleared out for the show so if you are sitting in a chair at the show bar area you will have to stand if you aren’t at... More

Sorry, never been for St. Pats day, but I would doubt it as there is no sit down food and it is pretty much a local bar.
