What an unexpected surprise! Stevens tour was interesting, fun, and definitely had the hairs standing up on the back of our necks. Not only will you learn the history of the quaint, charming and spooky little town of Franklin, but you will get the opportunity to actually contact some of the local ghosts. We even had a few make themselves known to us! I would absolutely take this tour again.

A MUST DO tour. Everyone does French Quarter tours (and those are excellent too) but the Garden District, is gorgeous and so much history! Taking a tour gives so much more depth and information than the 'self guided tours' Our tour guide, Deanna DuPont was amazing! She was so knowledgeable and in fact belongs to one of the founding families of New Orleans!! Her depth of history and narrative was phenomenal! Highly recommend!!

This is not your typical ghost tour. We were able to enter and tour the homes and buildings where people have reported seeing ghosts and experiencing the unexplainable. Our hosts were knowledgeable, professional, and always entertaining. Our comfort and safety was very important to them. We started with a brief history of Franklin, a picturesque community that took us back in time to the days of steamboats paddling their way through the moss-draped bayous of colonial south Louisiana. Our tour guide briefed us about what to expect with the tour, familiarized us with the instruments they use to detect any ghostly activities, and answered all our questions before proceeding to our first destination. It was a short, easy walk (2-3 blocks) between each destination. Each place we visited was a tour in itself. Beautiful 200 year old homes filled with period furnishings and a rich history of a magical time of days gone by. We did capture some paranormal activity in at least one of the homes. At no time did we feel uncomfortable or uninvited by the "spiritual residents". Again, our tour guide was super informative and had many entertaining stories to tell. We felt very safe walking through the town after dark. The residents we met along the way were friendly and appreciated our touring their community. We were told of all the new attractions soon to arrive there and invited us to return for a visit. Prior to the tour, we had a great time shopping and exploring through The Bargain Barn Too. A good place to find interesting antiques, collectables, and friendly conversation. And great prices! We ate dinner at the Forest restaurant, just up the street from the start of our tour. The food was amazing, and the service was fast and friendly. If you are visiting south Louisiana, this is one tour you should put at the top of your list. We will be back!

This tour was so informative and enjoyable. Me and my wife booked last minute during a time that Lafayette No. 1 happened to be closed for the city to remove markings that had been done on some of the graves. While we were disappointed that we were not able to see the cemetery, our guide made up the difference by giving us an excellent tour of the garden district. If you are staying in the French Quarter it is important that you check out this part of town as there is a world of difference. Our guide provided us with intriguing details about almost every house that we walked by and answered all of our questions. He also provided a native's point of view of what we were looking at which we valued. Excellent tour and guide 10/10!

Our tour guide, Trisha, was fantastic! I’ve been to the city before and it was interesting learning all the little rod bits I wasn’t aware of beforehand. I loved how informative and personable our guide was, she took the time to get to know us and answer all our questions. The tour was beautiful and even though St. Louis 1 is closed due to Covid, it was still an amazing experience. If you haven’t taken one of these before, do it! And ask for Trisha!
