We really enjoyed our cocktail tour. The suggested drinks were very good (and ranged from sweet to strong). We learned a lot of interesting history about New Orleans restaurants. My only criticism is that some of the information that was given was made up (African slaves smuggling okra seeds into America in their ear canals?).

We had a great time on this tour. Even if we had not tried a single cocktail, the tour would still be excellent. Angela gave us some great history and we visited some really awesome places; Tableau, Antoine's, Tiki Toulteca, Court of Two Sisters. We tried a new cocktail at each one. Really great tour overall.

Sandi was such a personable tour guide! She took us to amazing bars around New Orleans - French Quarter. Her knowledge of New Orleans and the bars and her personality made this tour SO MUCH FUN!

We went on a tour in February with Sandy and it was a great time! She took us to places we would have *never* thought to go on our own and learned some incredible historical facts while trying super delicious beverages.

My wife and I did this tour with another couple. Sandy was our guide. She took us to 4 locations. We met several other couples who we got along well with. Sandy told us some very interesting history and cocktail suggestions. She also showed us parts of each bar we went to that we'd never have been able to see... More

Sandy did a bang up job. She was very knowledgeable, knew all her facts. She kept the tour at a great pace, was never bored or too fast. Sandy took us to 5 locations even though typically you went to 4 locations. We got to see and hear the behind the scenes and true history and understood why drinks were... More

We were so pleased with this tour. Our tour guide, Sandi Smith, was a wealth of knowledge. We learned so much about local culture, Mardis Gras and the history of some of the most significant places in the French Quarter. This was my favorite tour of our trip.

It was a great tour, Joe was amazing! It did not start out too well, as we waiting for almost 30 minutes for a large group to show up that eventually cancelled. Once the tour started it was amazing. We had great drinks, and Joe was so knowledgeable of the city and the history of the drinks. Joe also threw... More

Staying in Treme

Neighborhood Profile
Treme
That sound? That flavor? That certain je ne sais quoi that lets you known you’re in “Nawlins” and nowhere else? It’s all good and in broad abundance on the streets of Tremé, where so much of what’s considered to be the very best of New Orleans culture and tradition is, put simply, just how people go about their daily lives in this historic part of town. As one of America’s oldest African-American neighborhoods and among the nation’s first established residential areas for free people of color, Tremé’s significant heritage and contribution cannot be understated. This is especially the case when considering some of Tremé’s most famous residents, most notably jazz great Louis Armstrong. For full flavored food, funky and jazzed up music, and vibrant street life presented with homegrown pride, you can’t beat a visit to Tremé.
