I went on this tour with a friend 7 years ago with our tour guide Joe. When my husband and I decided to take a trip to New Orleans I told him about this great tour. I was lucky enough to have Joe for a second time and it was just as fun 7 years later. It was a great... More

It was ridiculously hot the day we went, and as soon as we started walking and drinking it got bearable! (More than bearable...) Tour guide Sandy was fantastic, she knew all the bartenders and establishment owners and told great stories about the history. Loved tasting all kinds of new cocktails and some old favorites, getting to know the other people... More

We had a very nice time on the tour. Sandy was our guide and she was a lot of fun and full of neat info. I enjoyed seeing some places that I never would have tried on my own and my whole group enjoyed the cocktails! Great way to spend an afternoon.

Thanks Brian for an amazing tour!! If your choose to go on a Cocktail Tour in New Orleans you should ask for Brian as a tour guide. He was great. Very engaging and informative. We all had a great time. It was so worth the money we paid.

Wasn't sure what to expect....but I am so glad we did! Sandy was the tour guide and she was really great. She knew slot about the history and took us to some really cool places. You get one drink as part of the tour, but have to buy the drinks at each stop, so that added up and was a... More

Great tour! Sandi Smith was a great tour guide. She was a fourth generation born and raised in NOLA. She knew the city and the best places to visit and have a drink. Very well informative. I def recommend this tour! 🤗

This was my second FABULOUS cocktail tour with Sandra Smith. Her personal knowledge of the Quarter is immediately evident, and her advice and recommendations are spot on. Booking this tour near the beginning of your visit to New Orleans will reveal fabulous cocktail and dining options for the duration of your stay.

My husband and I really loved this tour. I think that was made so special because our tour guide was an older NOLA gentleman who you can picture actually hanging out at these special bars at some special places ! Brennens, Antoins, Court of the 2 Sisters and more. We learned about the specialty of the house and then had... More

This tour was very interesting. Some friends told me about a New Orleans cocktail tour that included the history and a small sample of each cocktail with an option to buy a full one. That is NOT this tour. You get one drink when you start the tour (at the ticket office) and then the cocktails are $10-12 each. One... More

Staying in Treme

Neighborhood Profile
That sound? That flavor? That certain je ne sais quoi that lets you known you’re in “Nawlins” and nowhere else? It’s all good and in broad abundance on the streets of Tremé, where so much of what’s considered to be the very best of New Orleans culture and tradition is, put simply, just how people go about their daily lives in this historic part of town. As one of America’s oldest African-American neighborhoods and among the nation’s first established residential areas for free people of color, Tremé’s significant heritage and contribution cannot be understated. This is especially the case when considering some of Tremé’s most famous residents, most notably jazz great Louis Armstrong. For full flavored food, funky and jazzed up music, and vibrant street life presented with homegrown pride, you can’t beat a visit to Tremé.
