Lovely tours, we have done both the bayou fan boat and the cocktail tour. Fan boat was great fun, with a special shout out to our bus driver Kin who was absolutely spectacular - entertaining, fun, and made the 40min bus ride fly by.
The cocktail tour was nice, first cocktail free but then have to purchase all cocktails after that (no tastings, only for purchase). Our guide Tom was absolutely lovely, such a genuinely nice guy who gave amazing insight into what it's like in NOLA as a local.
Recommend gray line in general!

So glad you enjoyed the tour. Tastings are always a thought but we like to keep the price as low as we can.

We had a great time. We got to see many parts of the city, and the tour guide was very knowledgeable.. Would recommend to friends. Stopping and exploring the different area was also fun. Bob was our tour guide and George was our bus driver.

My husband and I did the city and cemetery tour today and we loved it! Jim, our tour guide, was great. He gave us a ton of very interesting information and anecdotes about New Orleans but he was never boring. At the contrary he had a great sense of humor!
Donald was our driver and he managed to navigate the heavy traffic and sometimes bumpy roads like a champ.
I strongly recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting NOLA for the first time and wants to get a good overview of the different neighborhoods and history of the city in only 2.5 hours.

This Tour was excellent !! So much history , sightseeing, and information ..all in 3hrs. Our bus was comfortable and AIR conditioned and held about 35 guest …so much nicer than a full size tour bus. Our guide , Gail Hester , was so full of knowledge and timely information! She kept us interested and attentive the entire way. She escorted us through St. Louis Cemetery for a brief 20-30min lesson on New Orleans above ground graves ! Lots of tradition makes this city unique. The bus took us through City Park and a fun stop at Cafe du Monde for cafe au lait and beignets and bathroom opportunity . The rest of the tour was beautiful sites of every side of the city. Our Driver, Donald, did a great job of pulling over a few times for Gail to give detailed stories of some properties. Donald stopped in the garden district while Gail did a walking tour for about 30 mins of magnificent architectural mansions and the world famous restaurant Commanders Palace. We made it back to the French Quarter riverfront on time and had a fabulous day.

I would not book a tour through this company again, they just seem way too disorganized for me. I took the lunch boat cruise and it was okay. The ticketing process is ridiculous. I purchased the tour online, but you have to go to a window with your confirmation email to get your actual ticket. There is no set window for pickup only so anyone who is just there to pick up their tickets will most likely get stuck behind someone booking at the window and having lots of questions, etc. Get there at least 20-30 minutes early to account for this. Lunch and the boat ride was okay, I’m not sure the staff were totally prepared for the volume of people they had though.

I also booked a swamp airboat tour through GrayLine. Get to the ticket counter a 20 minutes early and notice the line is all the way back to the park benches. Waited about 25 minutes in line, when I finally got up to the attendant she told me they were having computer issues. It was also five minutes after leave time. Okay, I totally understand, stuff happens. She told me where to wait and stated that the bus would load at 11am. By 11:30 no one had attempted to load the bus or tell us what was happening. Honestly I’m wondering if the bus actually left while I was in line and the young lady just didn’t want to tell me that. I ended up leaving and booking with another company because at this point we were 45 minutes late with no indication whether this tour would be happening or not. I was able to contact them and they issued a refund, however I won’t use them again.

This is a review of the Oak Alley Plantation & Swamp tour. Our guides were Dionn and Alston. Dionn was a great tour guide, able to answer any questions we had about the city and the area as well as provide a interesting history lesson about Louisiana and the FQ. The plantation tour stop was 3 hours, and there is a restaurant on site to get lunch. A cafe with to go sandwiches was also an option. We then headed for a swamp tour and got to see alligators up close from our boat and watch them eat. The bus was clean and comfortable, with a restroom on board if needed. I would recommend this tour for anyone looking to mix history with some nature/wildlife adventure. Dionn and Alston were excellent and did a superb job.

We (Family with Adult Children) did the Oak Alley Plantation & Swamp Tour, this was a great day out tour 5 Dec 22 (approx 7.5hrs). Jim the bus tour guide, was well informed had detailed and enjoyable tales of all the history along they way to both the plantation and swamp cruise. Now if your really good guests on the bus you may be entertained with your very own on the bus Mardi gras 😁📿. We couldn't be more impressed with Darryl the driver of the bus, his ability to drive safely around the New Orleans Traffic should be awarded 🥇. Thank you to Gray Line New Orleans, Jim & Darryl.

Just a notes and I don't know if all plantation house tours are the same, but you are not permitted to take any photos inside Oak Alleys house. But you are able to take photos every else around the plantation. All the guides and staff on the plantation are well informed on the history their and letting me know if the Festival of Fire 🔥 on 24th Dec, which sounds fantastic, so if your in New Orleans Christmas Eve, go check it out.

The swap cruise goes for 1.5hr and you not only see alligators, but wild hogs, raccoons, turtles, grave sites and Captain Dan is very entertaining, I hope you get surprise with a close encounter with Bruce the alligator 🐊

Sept 13,2022 We got the pleasure of taking the Gray Lines Swamp Boat Ride & Oak Alley Plantation Tour. We were picked up at the Ticket Office at Toulouse st where we were greeted by Charlie our tour guide and George our bus driver both were wonderful. George’s expert driving skills got us there safely and on time while Charlie gave us all the in and outs of what we were seeing pertaining to the past and present. Answered any questions one might have along the way and help check us in and set us all on bus up for our tour times making us feel well taken care of. Our swamp tour was equally just as amazing Cpt Danny was funny informative and had safety as his main priority making us feel at ease so that we could enjoy the ride. Thank you to all our guides for making our 24th Anniversary great

Terrible experience! I booked a riverboat cruise and a city tour for a recent trip to NOLA. Graylines never emailed me my tickets/itinerary so I had to call them and wait on hold for over 15 minutes to request that they send me my needed tickets. Once in NOLA we paid $23 in parking and then walked to the boat where we found out that boat ride had been canceled due to mechanical issues. I understand that mechanical issues are out of thier control, but Graylines never contacted me to inform me of the cancellation. Then to make matters worse, they went ahead and canceled my city tour for the next day without letting me know via phone call or email. So while they did refund my money I was out the $23 for parking, I didn't get to enjoy the tours, and I was stuck in NOLA in the afternoon heat with 4 grumpy kids and a husband trying to figure out what we could do to use up our $23 parking fee for three hours lol.

We did have a mechanical situation and had to cancel the cruise. Our system send emails to all our guests for the cruise. We will check on that city tour for you if you can provide your full name and date of the tour. it is certainly not the experience we want to leave you with. Guestexperiences@glnosc.com

We did the 2 hour city sightseeing bus tour. The one hitch was the cancellation of another tour that took over an hour to pick up the others. We were in the afternoon, so the last 45 mins to an hour was dark. Our guide was wonderful and provided LOTS of information as we drove through the different areas. LOVE IT! So much to go explore and see next time we are in the Big Easy! 2 stops, in cemetery 23 and the Cafe Du Mond in the beautiful Oak Park were great breaks to stretch legs. Lots more tours to try in the future!
