We loved the two-hour wildlife tour! Enjoyed so many scenic views (including gators and owls) and learned even more about the history of the swamps from our tour guide Nick. Definitely a must in the NOLA area!

Really enjoyed our kayak tour with Nick who is very knowledgeable and helpful. We saw 2 alligators, some limpkins, egrets and a great blue heron. Only downside was a request from the company at around 10:30 am to move our 4:30 tour to 3:30 which was very tight for us as we drove out to see 2 plantations before the swamp tour.

Nick was a great tour guide. Was always out with his binoculars to find wildlife to see. Really knowledgeable about the area. Interesting information about how our tour was different from others pre-Ida.

The Manchac Swamp kayak tour was the highlight of our trip to NOLA. The swamp was a nice change of scenery after spending a day walking the streets of the city. We took the shuttle provided and had a very comfortable ride with our tour guide Nick to the launch site. Nick is passionate about the swamp and we learned so much about this incredible ecosystem and the creatures that live there. I was nervous about kayaking with alligators but after reading so many good reviews here we decided to go for it! I'm so glad we did. I can't imagine you would get nearly the same experience in a motorized boat. We went on the first tour of the day and were able to see 3 gators, egrets, herons, an owl and an osprey. The tranquility and beauty of this region should be enjoyed by all.

The trip was overall very interesting and fun to lean about. Our guide was knowledgeable! Due to the hurricane, there was some hidden logs in the water that made navigating a bit more tricky - but overall an amazing experience. Saw alligators, an owl, bald eagle, large snail, turtle and learned a lot about the ecosystem! The weather was perfect when we went as well - recommend going on an overcast day in the 60s or 70s.
