Had a great day on the water with Cpt. Gabe of Saltydog Charters. Clean, spacious boat. High quality gear. We had experienced fisherman down to young kids in our group and Gabe was able to properly outfit and challenge everybody. He clearly has local expertise and kept us constantly on the fish all day. Great time and better guy.

We were able to make arrangements on short notice. All we needed were food and drinks. Captain Eric took care of the rest.

Went out with Captain Gabe of Saltydog the week before Thanksgiving and had an incredible day on the Biloxi Marsh. Capt Gabe met us (my two sons ages 9 & 11 and me) before the sun came up and we were treated to an early morning sunrise as we headed out. Capt Gabe knew where the fish would be on a chilly and windy November morning and had us on a big redfish immediately. He explained where the fish would be and why and laid out our strategy for catching our limit for the day. We would hit a spot hard, catch a few fish, and then move on to the next hole. In a couple of hours of fishing we limited out and headed back in. Capt Gabe knows how to fish and was extremely patient with the boys and he worked to put a fish on their line. Back at the dock, he filleted the fish and we headed back to Colorado with a cooler full of fish. Cant recommend Saltydog and Capt Gabe enough for our incredible day of fishing in LA! Advice for future travelers: Bring a big cooler!

Captain Eric was phenomenal. He put us on redfish and kept us on fish all morning. I would highly recommend him to any angler coming to NOLA for coastal or offshore fishing. Great knowledge, humor and all round great person.
