Walk around listening to soothing music and fountains gurgling. Look at the beautiful plants, pots, and all sorts of decorative sculptures, wind chimes and outdoor wall hangings!

Da wife and I strolled by on the way from our B&B to the streetcar station. We were on vacation and in no hurry so poked around. This is a very pretty store! Plants, lawn art and wall hangings of all kinds! I wanted to get one of the full size bobbing flamingo’s but da wife objected. However she wants one of the mardi gras colored yard spinners that she might just get one day. Take a look up and notice the plants growing on the roofs of the place! Fun Place! Take a stroll around!

We have rented the house next door on Royal Street (during the French Quarter Fest) for at least a decade now. We can never leave New Orleans without visiting this absolutely marvelous garden store. I hate to even minimize my description of the place, as it's so much more than a run-of-the-mill garden store that most people are accustomed to. They have an incredible selection of pots, fountains, wind chimes, wall decorations, Talavera/Cermaic painted items, and of course, aquatic plants. In addition to that though, you can find all types of one-of-a-kind decorative items for your house. The variety is pretty incredible for its relatively small indoor store, which includes everything from vases to unique wall hangings. And the unique aspects of this place don't end when the sun goes down either. When we'd walk back to our rental unit at night, and pass their outdoor garden on Royal, you could hear the frogs croaking. Even though the business was closed for the day, the frogs sitting on the lily pads were definitely open for business. As we sat listening to them, it was honestly hard to believe that we were right in the thick of things - only 1 block from the craziness of Frenchmen's Street. I would highly recommend just stopping by for a visit and walking through the gardens. The gurgling sounds of all the fountains that are going simultaneously is just so relaxing. That, by itself, is worth the time spent.

Whenever I'm in the Bywater or Marigny and stop in. Usually fill up the car with unusual plants at the best price anywhere. Staff are the most knowledgeable and friendly I have ever met. Once time they loaded my car full and would not take a tip. You know those places that have a great vibe...this is one of the them. Keep it up guys!

This is a nice and large store that sells aquatic garden items. We just were passing by on the way back to our apartment, and we decided to take a look around. We are glad we did. There's a large selection of gardening equipment and home decor as well as a good selection of water plants. While we could not buy anything, as we were flying home in a few days, it was a peaceful break from our sightseeing and is worth a stop.
